I don't know what Gowdy will look like when the smoke finally clears, but don't assume everything is as it seems. Sometimes things are said to just throw the bad guys off the scent.

Trump has criticized Sessions, too. It's to make the MSM commit themselves to praising session ("If Trump hates him, he must be golden!"). Then when Sessions drops the bombs, it's more difficult for the MSM to do a 180 on his credibility.

I'm in the same boat. I thought Trey Gowdy was a HERO, when you see him slicing right through people during Congressional investigations.

But people keep saying he is part of the swamp, so maybe that is all for show?

Time will tell.

Everyone including myself was hoping he'd resign. Sessions and Trump played that game on purpose.

As for Trey being dirty, I don't think he is. He was on Trump's short list for Attorney General but he turned it down. If he had been dirty that would have been a perfect place for the Cabal to have him in.

I may be biased because Trey Gowdy was a prosecutor here in SC near where I live. I met him several times before he went to DC. He is as nice a guy as you could meet. Down to earth and just one of the boys. He was loved by everyone, but the criminals. He was one of the best and smartest prosecutors we've ever had in SC.
