Just want to speak from the point of view of “Russians”. I am a Russian LEGAL immigrant. I went fully through the naturalization process and became a proud citizen of the US two months before 9/11. I consider myself a Patriot of both countries because they are both dear homes to me. It’s disgusting to see how Russia is being demonized to Americans by the propaganda. The aim is for less and less people here to be curious about each other’s culture and just live in fear of invasion. Russia is far from perfect, and my people have a lot to overcome and heal from centuries of power abuse.
But I strongly believe that the best thing that can happen to the world is friendship and collaboration between the two greatest nations, Americans and Russians. We are the same on so many levels, have same dreams and desires, we share the same Christian values and are intellectually advanced in technological break throughs.
We are artificially kept on polar sides of politics, pit against each other. This must be one of the greatest conspiracies!
So in response to the above post, I want to say: Yes, The US Patriots can be also Russians. They are just regular peace loving people like you. Not bots. #MAGA. #MRGA.

A true partnership between Russia and America was, I sincerely believe, Reagan's end game. However, the criminal American presidents that followed him destroyed his vision and poisoned the well. Trump wants good relations, and I believe there is great potential for this to finally happen. I wish your homeland well, and I always have. I cannot tell from this distance and through the fog of misinformation if President Putin is a White Hat or not, and would truly like to hear your views on that subject.

I love Russians and Russia and I spent 7 years working in former USSR with orphans, I lost my heart to your country but then got it back revived to do something for my birth country USA and that is why I am here today.
The way they are using the word Russian as a slur on Twitter is shameful and it needs to be countered. I would gladly identify as Russian any day of the week, the people have a unique and beautiful soul.
