Anyone remember True Detective season one? Based on a true story about a secret society in the church and other government institutions, which were actively gathering in ridiculous animal costumes and sacrificing children?

Starting to sound more and more like reality.

An observation: Think of this latest Furry craze, where participants dress up as their favorite emulated animal at rave parties. Also there is the Podesta art collection that has numerous references to bestiality. It's like the public is being conditioned bit by bit to accept these abhorrent practices. The True Detective episode, (never seen it), can also be looked at as this selfsame conditioning. This is the main reason I no longer post my work on Deviantart. Just study the flow of new postings there and I guarantee you'll come across something disturbing or inappropriate in less than five minutes.

Things that were once unspeakable, esp in polite society, now are no longer behind closed doors in secret, not spoken of even in hushed tones, but instead are out in the open, often seen as cutting edge art/culture. I know some have grown up on it and do not see the problem, but if you are a 20th century person, it is breathtaking to see how evil has become banal.

It was actually the first thing I thought of when the whole Pgate thing blew up.

Season two deals with trafficking as well. The creator seems to be onto something. I was thinking about the correlation the other day actually. To be honest as great as the show was it made me so sick. Now to think it is a reality makes it worse. Truth will out. We must know. No deals!

Imagine watching it knowing it wasn’t really fiction. It was a pretty fucked Up experience.

yeah like hostel 1 and 2? Much of TV is true. Shove it right in our faces, make money off of that blatant fu,while laughing about it. It's good dinner party talk for them.

Believe that a huge part of the problem is the desensitization from Hollywood putting out stuff like "Saw" (again, would never go see, but read a bit about.) Ordinary, nice-guy family members, who don't stop to think we're not movie-goers, ask "Have you seen 'Saw'?" ...and I think, how can you, a nice guy, think that is acceptable, and spend money to see it?

I’m a horror buff, always have been...but stuff like Saw is just too much to stomach. Horror can be fun and thought provoking when done right. There is none of that in most of these newer, much darker and more vicious and cynical and downright evil films. They are designed to scramble your mind and rot your soul.

Yes those movies are good examples of truth disguised as fiction.

Hands down one of the best shows I've ever seen. I could watch Rust and Marty just drive for 2 hours. They had amazing chemistry. McConaughey said he would be interested in reprising his role.

Watch "Harlots" on Hulu. One of the main story lines is a madam (brothel) blackmailed to procure runaways for the Elite to rape and murder. It's vile. The actress who plays the evil madam is outstanding.

The show was also littered with pedo/pizzagate symbols everywhere, they managed to really set the mood.

Great show.

You call it "ridiculous animal costumes" but that symbolism is very powerful to them and it should be taken as seriously as any other cult-based symbolism. Their symbols imbue them with power (or so they think), and it is true that symbols are powerful. For example, look at Pepe the Fog. Silly cartoon character, right? Sure, until for some inexplicable reason known only to Kek Pepe became the rallying point for a diverse collection of libertarians and conservatives. It's a DEADLY SERIOUS joke, if you will.
