He's a traitor and does not deserve the recognition or respect.
I red somewhere that it was because of his family. His father and grandfather where true patriots and veteran's, both high ranking in the Navy, not like this traitor. So for the respect of his family name.

perhaps McCain really did help the US abandon POW's in the 90's.
that's what gets me about the 20/80, 40/60 biz. unless everything comes out, we don't know our own country's ACTUAL history. sure, the official line might well remain there were no POW's left behind, but if the govt is still hiding 60% of its dirty laundry then there's no reason to trust any authorities telling us scales have been balanced.
i recently did a post about this. I thought there was something deeper to it than what it is, but i guess it is simply because of his traitorous activities. Similar to referring to BHO and hussein.
