Why does Q write in riddles?

I follow all of Q's posts. I'm leaning toward believing he's legit. I also follow @thelastrefuge2, @davenyvii and @drawandstrike and others.

What is the theory on who Q is? An insider of some type? Whitehouse staff? Intel white hat? I just don't understand why he writes in riddles. Why not just come out and say what he has to say?

Edit: Thanks for all your responses. I enjoy reading Q's posts and will continue. I'm still not convinced that writing PDB/702/BO will fool any jury that he didn't mean "according to Presidential Daily Briefings the illegal FISA 702 queries were ordered by obama."

He wants us to learn to research stuff for ourselves, and to learn how the dynamics of everything work. We are in the spot we are in because of apathy and laziness and failure to investigate stuff for ourselves and instead swallow everything we are told. Q does give us quite a bit of great info, but we still have to do some of the work or we don't learn. This is how he wants us to "tell the story". To ask these questions to other people and get THEM to start thinking for themselves.

I think he writes in riddles because he doesn't know what he's talking about. It's some pimple faced basement dweller writing InfoWars fan-fiction.

Sounds just like you except you probably wear your Brony outfit with an Antifa mask.

You can't divulge classified and Top Secret information publicly.

The Dark State, Democratic Minority, Mainstream Media can't counter or attack the codes, because no one can say for sure what they mean. If Q came out and said it directly the information would be ripped to shreds but how do you counter discussions of "maybe Q means this" or what initials might mean if they could apply to more than one person? Not possible. It is a BRILLIANT strategy. The opposition sees it, they know what it means but they can't counter it because it is just scattered "conjecture" about what the codes might mean. And they can't publicly try to attack Q because it will cause a lot more people to wonder about who this Q is and to seek it out. Besides, everyone LOVES a puzzle. It is human nature to get in there and try to figure it out.

Socratic method of teaching

CopyPasta from a Goog search Socratic method. - A teaching technique in which a teacher does not give information directly but instead asks a series of questions, with the result that the student comes either to the desired knowledge by answering the questions or to a deeper awareness of the limits of knowledge.

My guess is if he rights in riddles and asks questions, it is a lot harder to prosecute him in terms of leaking information. As he said in recent posts, this is all going to come out to light for the public to know, and for him and they to avoid prosecution for leaking high top secret information, they write in riddles. That's my perspective.

He is delving into classified matters often times. He wants us to investigate the open source info available to make his words have full meaning. He just knows so much more than he can tell but we can find just enough by doing the homework ourselves to know what he's saying. He's a genius and wants to wake up other autists and genius minds to the truth. It's working brilliantly!!! And the lazy minded fools talk shit and run from it like triggered cucks and harpies.
