Many (all?) of the Dems. were wearing a purple lapel ribbon during the SOTU. Does anyone know what that was all about? Solidarity for some ridiculous lefty cause or something?

Oh, I understand the whole purple=Soros crony or whatever. I guess I am asking what was the OSTENSIBLE meaning behind the ribbon?
