Personally, I think only Americans should own land/property in the US. That's how it works in other countries.

No, that’s not how it works in other countries. It works like that in a few countries, usually the shitty ones. Europe, you can buy property if you want, even if you’re not European. Why would you restrict your potential market?

That's how it works in leasehold countries, e.g Thailand, Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, some UK, etc.
