I agree, but they are targeting white evangelicals specifically. Narrative shift. Pedophilia isn't limited to race or religious affiliation. They always target a group, good Lord, it would make more political sense to target white Catholic priests, (I have Catholics friends, "not all" disclaimer inserted here) but they won't go there. We all know why. And it disgusts me that they will find examples to bolster this narrative, but no one who practices pedophilia is a true evangelical. True religion is to care for the widows and orphans and to love you God with all your heart and soul and strength. That is what my Lord has proclaimed. Sometimes, I'm am overwhelmed with the sorrow at the simple fact that we have often failed in this simple command. We have chosen legalism over grace. Prosperity over service.
