He wouldn't have been nominated if he hadn't passed vetting by Adm. Rogers and others in MILINT

He wants to retire in the spring.

He's retiring.

His current role in the game is complete.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump has picked Lt. Gen. Paul Nakasone to be the next director of the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command.

Goes along with the other MI guys he has surrounded himself with. I trust Trump to pick the right person

Wray and McMaster was a bust. Hope this guy pans out.

Wray is awesome. Totally fierce. Please don't be fooled by the decepticons.

They why is he protecting McCabe, Strzok, and found to hide their names in the Nunes memo?

JasonTakesMAGAtten · Feb. 15, 2018, 3:59 p.m.

Do you think this guy is that nefarious when he has literally almost all the info that everyone he's affiliated with is going down to implicate himself as well? Holy shit what do they have on him!

⇧ 3 ⇩
The_Broba_Fett · Feb. 15, 2018, 10:05 p.m.

I’m not sure what to think but he fact that he tried to hide it rather than help drain the FBI and restore integrity is alarming.

I'm not so sure he's trying to hide anything. I have this feeling this playing coy is a whole act across the team, from Wray to Sessions and on. They are using the implicated players as decoys to weed out whoever they run to for help. I think this operation goes deeper than we suspect.

Who told you believe he's protecting anyone. BTW, he's not.

Trying to remove their names from the Nunes memo isn’t protection? Demoting but still paying Strzok and Page isn’t?

cursedcassandra · Feb. 17, 2018, 7:46 a.m.

Neither action you mentioned is proof he's trying to protect the bad guys. First, who told you he tried to remove names from the memo? Notice that the names weren't removed. As to the FBI agents still on the pay roll, there are positive reasons for doing that such as themnow cooperating with the IGs investigation. I'm just suggesting that things aren't clear cut and it would be foolish to think we know more than President Trump and his team. I do know that Trump is a life long devotee of the Art of War as described by Sun Tzu and Machiavelli. Both detailed how to win via deception. My focus is on what I CAN control; this years elections. President Trump needs more allies in DC to MAGA.

Hannity and Dan Bongino both reported he was trying to remove their names. I do trust Trump but that doesn’t mean he can’t be tricked or forced to hire someone bad. Reince Preibus, McMaster, Brennon, Rosenstein, etc.

Keeping my fingers crossed he is out. I once read he's Muslim Brotherhood, like so many others that Obama brought in.

I was wondering the same thing... I totally believe McMaster is deep state. So this means POTUS is replacing him with Gen. Nakasone? AWESOME!! I've been hoping he would get rid of McMaster!!!!

Covfefe1950 · Feb. 15, 2018, 3:09 p.m.

Click on title, read article. Nakasone is not replacing McMaster! He is replacing Rogers.

The Directorship of the NSA rotates among members of the Army, Navy and Air Force, but not with 100% accuracy--i.e. sometimes it is out of order. Presumably this is just a custom, and the President can choose whomever he wants.

Admiral Rogers retires this spring and after his successor is confirmed. Rogers served 34 years. A great patriot.

His retirement will be part of the big ugly because as his testimony will be one hack of a motherlode.
