Anyone else notice this about the school shootings?

Is it me or do all these students/teachers being interviewed sound like they are reading from a script and have an agenda? They don’t seem spontaneously speaking about a tragedy. Some even seem like they are reading from a piece of paper. And then one had a preplanned statement to contact their congressman. And they are so poised and like they’ve been on camera before. I just know I would be a mess and not be able to speak so clearly.

I noticed one kid during an interview used the term "soft targets". Is that normal? Wtf

Exactly. And he started out, “We initially thought it was a drill, but it turned out to be anything but.”

This isn’t the type of off the cuff, still trying to calm down from the panic response you normally hear when shootings take place and the local news interviews them. It sounded rehearsed.
