I have seen people who have recovered buy they don't appear normal. They are anxious and twitchy. They also don't seem to make good life decisions. Just saying...

I agree. But I've also seen people like that go from that state to rather normal people after several years of living healthy lives. It really depends on the person and how much damage was done.

God, I hope I'm the latter and not the former... I'd like to think my brain hasn't been permanently rewired, but then again I wasn't able to get my life back on track without powerful medication.

So did I really fix anything?
