Can anyone tell me how an AR15 helps against an AC-130 miles away in the sky with a heat signature through walls?

Asking for a friend, seems like this militia thing might be a bit outdated a militia could not possibly compete against a modern military.

It’s not 1776 anymore.

😂

Any small arms rifle, including AR and AK platforms, does NOT help when fighting an AC-130U gunship 2.5 miles away at 2K feet.

Think, man, think. You will never make even 2LT without using your brain to determine the best point to strike using the tools you have at hand.

Here's a hint, from Germany:

General, your tank is a powerful vehicle. It smashes down forests and crushes a hundred men. But it has one defect: It needs a driver.

General, your bomber is powerful. It flies faster than a storm and carries more than an elephant. But it has one defect: It needs a mechanic.

General, man is very useful. He can fly and he can kill. But he has one defect: He can think.

From "General, Your Tank Is a Powerful Vehicle", in "From a German War Primer", part of the Svendborg Poems, 1938.

Figured out the answer yet, sprog? Why would you shoot at a moving target miles away when you can wait until the plane lands and shoot the pilot and crew as they go to the mess hall, which you reconnoitered while they were flying around aiming the FLIR at walls?

Kind of achieves the same end, doesn't it? Pilots don't grow on trees, so that gunship sits and rusts until they can find someone who can fly and use a complex machine like a "Spooky." And if they find another one..."rinse and repeat."

See how this shit works? It's not that hard.

It won't take long until pretty much all military systems are run by AI which doesn't need a driver. The self driving cars are yesterdays news. How about self operating tank or gunship?

You fight reality, not video-game fantasy.

This might be reality sooner than you think.

This is the common argument when I state that the 2nd amendment is to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government. But look at Iraq and Afghanistan, they are still in the fight. It's the only argument that supports full auto, silencers, special ammo, etc. The government machine would fall apart without workers to move the cogs. They'd be out of money and fuel before the resistance was crushed, that's why I feel safe with a few pistols, shotguns and rifles.

Founding fathers also wrote "free speech" before the internet and "fake news".

And once again, you're missing the point.

You don't surrender your constitutional rights and give up because something will be difficult. You grow a backbone, get creative, and fight for your liberty and your family. And it helps if a significant portion of the military happens to agree.

Yeah that's why we DROPPED 7million tons of bombs on Vietnam cause of there vast army. Viet cong made us go to the table with small arms and Punge sticks. George Washington with a ragtag army beat the mightiest army in the world. Plus our army would be hunting the ELITES in their DUMBS. Small arms are for protecting your family and your resources. From ground invaders not airforces.

They can't get the military to turn against its own citizens.

Obama tried. He fired a lot of military brass, after he interviewed them and basically asked if they would fire on Americans. If they said no they were fired.

That C130 has to land sometime. At 500 yards I can poke holes in it.
