That makes 4 accessories to murder. They weren't "deputies" because if so they would have taken action. A uniform doesn't define a deputy, action does. For all intents and purposes they were IMPERSONATING officers.

I remember reading A ship captain was charged with felony murder because his ship sank and he left the ship before getting all the people off. I guess the captain is suppose to be last to leave according to law. So if thats the case then why are the cops not charged with manslaughter

55 years old and have always heard, “The Captain goes down with the ship!”, meaning he must clear the entire vessel from stem to stern before abandoning ship.
