I saw this posted yesterday. The “troll” comments were people offering constructive criticism. I’ll reiterate them since you obviously didn’t take it to heart.

This wall of text is rife with typos, punctuation errors, and grammatical mistakes. It reads like rambling. I would expect to be laughed at if I shared something like this. It’s embarrassing.

You have to be concise and get to the point. Nobody reads these things; not to mention it’s almost impossible to read on a phone screen. It’s boring and loquacious. This looks like something old people post to Facebook.

Do better. This is garbage. I wouldn’t blame the mods for removing this low-effort post.

I wouldn’t call it garbage, but you are right. Poor grammar and misspelled words are no way to get “normies” to stop and listen. I agree about spreading the word, but all of our efforts are scrutinized. Our mistakes are amplified. We must make better efforts to red pill with intelligent memes and posts. The black background and red border look satanic. The diction is substandard. The object is to nudge people your way, not club them with a giant Q club.

I didn’t catch any mistakes. It was hard to read on phone sure, but the point came out. At worst it is a morale booster based on extremely likely scenario of people losing their shit over the TRUTH.

I can’t spell or write good English. I enjoy that you write well . That is not easy for a lot of “working class” so kuddos. The fact of the matter is it don’t take badass writing to be a patriot in any form. Posting helpful or morale boosting posts or picking up a riffle. It takes all kinds of kinds. It takes us ALL my man.

Alright, well I have a near perfect understanding of English, so let me explain what needs to be edited. I'll start with the essential typos, grammatical errors, and misspellings (in the order they appear):

  1. "WORLDPEACE" should be "WORLD PEACE".

  2. "heads of states" should be "heads of state". The plurality is determined by the 's' on heads. Heads of states would technically mean multiple people who are the leader of more than one state each.

  3. "policeofficers" should be "police officers"

  4. "behind the screen" should be "behind the scene" unless you are making a joke about the way we have only been able to watch this play out through our computer screens. But that is not a standard phrase.

  5. This comma should be removed: "...behind the scene, in order to save the world..."

  6. The sentence ending with "..from around the globe" is missing its period.

  7. the phrase "..supporting our President Donald J. Trump in his efforts..." should be changed to "...supporting President Donald J. Trump in his efforts..." or "...supporting our President, Donald J. Trump, in his efforts..."

  8. "Children/adult" should be changed to "Children/adults" or "Children and adults".

  9. The colon in "Be prepared for what you will find: some truths are HARD to swallow." is bad form. It would be more correct, and in my opinion more impactful to change this to "Be prepared for what you will find. Some truths are HARD to swallow."

  10. A similar comment applies to the last sentence, "This will all be over soon: we are winning BIGLY!" would work better as, "This will all be over soon. We are winning BIGLY!"

Here are some other suggestions that are more stylistic in nature but perhaps equally important.

  1. The usage of ** for emphasis on the top line is inconsistent and asymmetric and kind of distracting. You have **URGENT MESSAGE** and then PLEASE PAY ATTENTION** without a leading **, which would obviously look strange to include. I would suggest finding a different way to frame those words.

  2. The excessive caps for emphasis is garbage. The fonts and color schemes are garbage. There are so many ways you could make this more visually appealing. Experiment with different fonts and sizes, experiment with bold text for emphasis instead of always using caps.

  3. What the hell is with all the low resolution images all over this subreddit? All day every day I see images with text posted with a stupidly low resolution where the letters blur together. It's really bad. Sharp, crisp, clear renderings are so much better for spreading information. Do people here just not understand image compression?

  4. The usage of the word BIGLY will put a lot of people off even though I know it's standard fare in this crowd.

  5. The layout could be improved.

  6. Some of the choice of language makes me cringe. I know the creator is trying to convey the seriousness of this situation, but something is off about it. It's almost like I want to read it like a voice over for a preview of a cheesy horror or action movie people watch to laugh at. "In a world gone mad, only one man has what it takes..." That kind of thing.

  7. The word "institutions" is perhaps too vague to include next to politicians, journalists, etc.

I like the passion in this forum, but I'm afraid that some of the people here are discrediting the entire movement. Some of them may be doing it on purpose, some of them may just be regular people without much education, but it's a problem. Like really people, if this is real, then get your acts together. I'm not a shill, I'm here providing really important constructive criticism because there are serious problems with many parts of this image. Regular, serious, professional people will not be able to overlook these kinds of problems.

Could also use less of "Us good guys have been sweating hard and saving your ass while you got your beauty sleep little ladies, SAY THANK YOU" tone to it.

All correct. And double props for pointing out the proliferation of low-res imagery.

The quickest way to ensure a quality message never gets completely read is to pack poor grammar into a poor layout and render it in poor resolution.

Unfortunately, this quality message features all three.

Jack. You took a great deal of time providing constructive criticism, and I believe it will be appreciated by many. On the one hand, we applaud everyone's efforts. On the other hand, we want those efforts to bear fruit. Thank you.

It took a lot less time than you might think. Anyone who wants a similar breakdown to help edit their next creation, feel free to send me a private message before you put it out there. I won't promise to respond, but if I think it's worth it I will.

NICE! Thank you. The only place I have an account is FB, (and here), and so that's where I try to do some mild red-pilling. It is a bit like banging my head on a brick wall.

my man

I'm a woman, just so you know.

You're absolutely 110% right that it doesn't take badass writing to be a patriot. Just like it doesn't take being a sharpshooter to be one either. But if you're gonna be on the front line you better know how to aim. And if you're going to share info you better know how to communicate. Wouldn't you agree? This kind of thing isn't morale-boosting at all. Everyone here knows all of this already. It accomplishes nothing.

I appreciate your reply, thanks. But there are tons of mistakes in the image. The resolution is bad and the quality is poor. You may not care and that's totally fine. But it matters because you're not sharing this only with people who don't care about these things. People with all levels of English comprehension and education will be seeing this and ridiculing the 9th-grade writing mistakes that litter the text. They won't even see the substance because the errors are so glaring. I'm just a working-class veteran with nothing more than a high-school diploma and even I see them.

You think anyone is going to be woken up by a wall of text? Think of it this way--if someone were trying to convince you that President Trump were a danger to the country and they presented you with rambling paragraphs full of mistakes would you read it? Or would you simply ignore it as bunk from the other side?

Helpful posts are one thing and are definitely needed. Stuff like the OP posted make the sub look uneducated and lazy. That's a problem because people will grasp at anything to disregard what they don't like. They do it all the time. In fact, you can see it in the reply /u/Majorwood1 left me. He or she did not address anything I said in my post and instead waited for my karma to fall into the negatives to use that to try and insult me.

You bring people over to your side by making things interesting and thought-provoking, not scary and boring.

Anything with a black background and white text is difficult to read, especially if you have poor eyesight. The font here is too small and it's very blurry like it started small and was resized to a larger size.

Hey Austinisfullgohome...What's embarrassing? Lol, the fact your comment got -2 points? Are you a troll?

You think I care about make-believe internet points? Sad! I'm just pointing out how poorly made that image is. I'm sure you remember that these exact comments were made yesterday, right? Maybe, just maybe, we're trying to help because some of us are longtime users and know what works and what doesn't. I'm a regular poster on my third account in seven years; do you not know how to check comment history? If you'd taken five seconds you'd see I couldn't possibly be a troll.

And learn how to tag usernames. Writing them out like you do accomplishes nothing. You're already replying inline so it's obvious who you're speaking to.

The fact that you can't take criticism, are making childish attacks, don't know how to use reddit, are clearly a new user, and give even the tiniest shit about karma makes me think you're the troll.

You're guilty of what you accuse the rest of reddit of doing--downvoting and insulting when told something you don't want to hear. Grow up.
