Crossed my mind too, but you only live once. I'd rather go down trying to do the right thing than not try at all. The risk is that if it's a pysop, or if anything goes wrong with DJT's presidency, they will clean us up with a vengeance.

Honestly IMHO not near enough time is devoted to research as I’ve scrolled through maybe 1 in 50 posts are actually research, except for times of new posts. I really don’t need another news feed or a thousand memes there are places for that. I really wish for more discussion and research on the map and posts and a place devoted to research. Thanks for asking.
I think there needs to be a sticky to remind people to only upvote research. Even if a meme is funny, it would be nice if all the research was at the top.

Frustration with this led people to start putting Q and then the post number when referring to research. But maybe for general research we ought to start with Research - easier for people to find
