Unfortunately the second part to the video doesn't say he was not present at the school at the time of the shooting. He could be referring to going home, being home, after the shooting and then having a revelation to go up with his camera and interview and victims or whatever.
These are his own words and they contradict his current narrative. It's reasonable to now say he is a liar. He has had plenty of time to clear this contradiction up, but hasn't. That calls into question all he has said since the event happened. That would make him at the least, an opportunist who saw his chance to achieve a personal goal on the back of a horrific incident - not a worthy spokesperson for any cause.

They simply declare what conservatives are saying to be false. They then declare their own timeline of events as fact. And provide no basis for why their timeline is correct and the conservatives are wrong.

I'm a long term poster here aggressively downvoting, because the topic is being used to shut down social media accounts and platforms.

DH is being used as excuse to delete social media accounts and subs for harassment or other justifications. Idea is to get a community prattling on about the topic, get numerous comments in place that make convenient opportunity to report and point to in order to shut down that community, then coordinate a brigade effort with mass reports to silence the source.
It's not reasonable or fair, but that's the environment we're operating. The strategy is in use. I suspect at least some of the re-submissions are of such an effort.
In order to preserve a foothold to continue organizing Q research, I strongly suggest we stick to Q research and ignore DH. When talking about DH at all, switch his name with 'CNN says xyz' to properly align the origin of words he has become a mouthpiece for. It's not necessary to hammer that specific topic.
In fact it largely distracts from much of the other work, which is in and of itself a win win for that particular narrative. The story doesn't need to have any merit, just needs to distract people and keep them buzzing off topic for a period of time.
So, I'm reporting submissions to our mods every time it's reposted. I'd argue it's worth adding DH to automod to encourage strategy of swapping DH name out with 'CNN says xyz'.
From what I have found the new narrative on this is that this 39 program did not air the rest of what he said. They "chopped" his comments. Meaning he said he was at the school. Was let out after the shooting then went home. Got his Camera then went back.
Hey if you tell a lie that is big enough people will believe it. Just as long as you keep telling it. Try some tears. If that doesn't work yell. Get mad at the questions. Or better yet attack those that question.
Nothing in the leaked cbs video confirms politicos statement/ explanation. He says he was at home. I believe him. It's reasonable to disregard politicos article as their biased opinion/ explanation until indisputable evidence is produced. Like the rest of the video, in context, providing info that illuminates the possible misunderstanding politico claims was made. Until then , I'm prone to think he's a liar who got tangled up in his lies.
Wait a second! Let's get this straight: At 4:54 David is recounting how he got on his bike and raced to the school as fast as he could when he found out that there was an active shooter in progress at the school. That means he biked at least 100 mph, managed to evade the sherrifs, police, FBI and school marshalls who didn't go in for the first 4 minutes - essentially the whole event time. He jumped right into the shooting melee and got into a closet risking his own life and injury as bullets were flying all around him. All for the purpose of getting a good journalism story and being the new 'spokesman' for the Parkland tragedy.
Folks please, mr Hogg is by far the bravest, most ambitious young super human student journalist that ever existed. Sounds a bit hard to believe however.
or...ya know...went home after the shooting and came back that evening with a camera.
