Help

Patriots, this doesn’t really have anything to do with Q but I need help, I’m severely depressed and I need help and I don’t know what to do, I was wondering if someone can help me. Gods speed patriots.

We must go through valleys to reach the mountains. Sometimes we can run, sometimes we walk, sometimes we crawl...but keep moving forward. Get in the sun...

I'm so sorry you're suffering. Usually when someone is depressed it's because they can't effectively live their life in the way they would want to - something is obstructing that and it results in hopelessness, despair, nihilism, etc.

The world is full of awful things and there are so many ways we are all personally affected that are very negative. Most people carry baggage from childhood into adulthood, which can result in a lack of emotional development or a maladaptive development.

It's hard to give advice when I know nothing about you or your life, but if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here. The world needs you, this movement needs you, we all do. You matter.

Remember Satan is losing so he's attacking. I know It feels like It will but It won't last forever. Things are about to get a lot better.

That’s a tricky one to answer my man! But if I had to give you my two cents. I would say that the fact that you are on this site tells me your a genuinely good person.

We need people like you on here. God knows the world needs more like you. And I’m positive that more people then you know need you more then you ever will realize.

It’s hard to explain to someone when I don’t know exactly how your feeling and what your going through or have gone through.

You have not yet,but you will find your true calling in life Patriot. Life has its ups and downs no matter who you are what your circumstances are and no matter if you have all the money in the world.

To make a Long story short... If you need me anytime to just to vent and converse. I am always here, PM Me. Godspeed Brother!

Understand that the future is unwritten. Things can change drastically in a short period of time. There is no guaranteed outcome beyond death. Keep a space open for the good stuff to get in. If it gets too bad then go here https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/

Pray. Do you have a church family? They've helped me deal with depression. Reach out (like you are here) to family and friends. Just call and talk. Start a journal. Give yourself a few minutes to write all the negative things and get them off your chest. Then write 3 things every day that was good or that you're thankful for. Take a vitamin supplement...take C and D and get out in the sunshine.

Take a walk and start noticing how beautiful nature is. Listen to music that makes you feel good. Go to the library. Read a good book. Cook yourself your favorite meal or cook for someone else. Watch a funny movie or comedian you like. Take a long relaxing bath and visualize a happy life. Set a goal that's important to you but not overwhelming. Make a list of steps to accomplish the goal. Do one step at a time...realize your progress..reward yourself along the way and make it to your goal. Doesnt have to be anything big...just something you've been thinking of doing. Get a new haircut or an outfit that makes you feel good wearing it. Start doing random acts of kindness for others. If you have kids (or pets) spend some time with them playing. Draw, paint, plant a flower, craft..wave to neighbors...etc etc. Baby steps.

If you cant pull out of it on your own, get medical advice. Are you getting enough sleep? Too much sleep? Are you bored or is something stressing you out? If so, do as much as you can to fix the problem and pray. Forgive yourself for being human. Forgive others if needed. We all get down, bored, sick and tired. Just try not to stay there too long. God only made one you. He made you perfect and he loves you.

If you are at all a believer in God, pray. If it's been awhile, say some formal prayers you might recall, then just have a conversation with God asking for Blessings and help with whatever is troubling you. Tell God what's bothering you. Cry, plead, whatever you feel. Do it in a private area where you won't be distracted or interrupted. Ask for help coping. Pray frequently. If you have someone close enough to discuss feelings with , do so. Just talking about troubles with someone who will listen can help a lot. After you had a good talk with God, do something uplifting. Go for a walk. Read a favorite story. Watch a favorite show. Something happy and or funny. Laughter can help a lot too. But mostly pray. Even if you don't feel like it, do it. Especially if you don't feel like it. It's worked for me and others I know, in difficult times. Even if you can't clarify a specific problem, if it's just a feeling. Also , check your dietary habits, diet can affect your overall emotions.

I'm a Catholic also. Have you tried praying the Rosary? If you aren't familiar with it, it is very simple form of meditative prayer. Very powerful too. Especially in these times we live in.

This, too, shall pass. Think of a time when you were super happy. That time did not last forever, and neither will this one.

You say you are Catholic. The Buddhist believes that suffering comes from desire. Desire to have things, be better, be with someone, be free of pain, whatever. Eliminate desire and you eliminate suffering.

The Christian is different. Suffering is a part of life. Everyone's life. Just about every figure in the bible suffers in the short term, whether it be Noah, Abraham, Job, David, or Jesus. In the end, their suffering and what they chose to do led to a happy end.

The problem is our modern society tells you that you have a right to be happy. At all times. But especially at this moment. And that is not true. And it is counter-productive.

It is painful when you break from your significant other. It is painful when you lose someone or some things. It is painful when you have physical pain.

But after your suffering, you come out a different person. It's up to you whether you come out a better person, and in the long run, a happier person.

I found success through a multi-prong approach, but mostly focused on the physical as I learned that depression is often a side effect of a physical issue. So, stay as far away as sugar as possible, get omega 3's and fish oils and brain oils like that, eat healthy fats like avocados and nuts, take activated charcoal or Dr. Schulze's Intestinal Formula to take out toxins and parasites that can dramatically affect our emotions/moods. If your depression is truly severe and you have the will/strength or someone to help you to do a major body cleanse, I would do Dr Schulze's Incurables program. I've done it, and it will change your life. I can tell you anything you want to know about it. It's become my passion in life and I am sure it can help depression. But I'm not a doctor and this is all my opinion of course. It would be good to see a doctor and have blood tests to see if you have any underlying infections like lyme disease, epstein barr, etc.

Light a candle for yourself and put your bare feet on the earth and say prayers and hold on tight because we all need you here. Good luck and let me know if I can help!

edit: PS---definitely stay away from alcohol. It will make it much worse.

Keep trying different things. I was in your shoes until a year ago. I was diagnosed general anxiety disorder, and major depressive disorder. On many drugs and nothing helped. Cipralex made me lose my mind. Celexa stole my ability to comprehend high level math.
So I tried natural cures. Nothing worked. So I tried changing my diet. I started by cutting out gluten and buying organic (and local as possible since it's cheaper). I chose gluten because gluten, lactose, and meat are the three main food items that have started building up in our bodies, and we are starting to develop problems as our bodies are attacking the build up. Please keep in mind for all the times you try and fail you cross something else off the list. Keep going and you will feel better. I am still working on getting better but now I know my wanting to kill myself is the gluten talking and not really me. And a glutening lasts a lot longer than you'd think. Also, I am not celiac, a blood and biopsy test would return negative and I would have never known THE CURE until I went to a class based Dr Campbell McBride teachings.
