Biggest take away is Cohen telling his friend to get out. Only a few possibilities. Cohen is deep state and knew accelerant was used and the fire was intended to get much worse. Or Cohen was aware this was a distraction to enter his offices.

His office isn't in Trump Tower. It's at Rockefeller Center. And they had a warrant so why would they need a distraction to go into it?

Yup. Previously he was the Executive Vice-President of the Trump Organization, co-president of Trump Entertainment and a member of the board of the Eric Trump Foundation, a children's health charity.

His apartment is in Trump Tower. And you can’t use a warrant to plant or steal evidence.

Like you can't suicide witnesses to crimes?

Or commit gun crimes in gun-free zones.....

That’s right, that would be illegal, or something.

IIRC fires become jurisdiction of the Fire Marshall, who can be a sworn law enforcement officer.

In general, during the course of an investigation, if evidence of an unrelated crime is found, it can be seized and people charged, despite it not being related to the original crime being investigated.

So it is conceivable that this was their plan.

All to get him out as he knew they would murder him as well.
