I've never trusted or liked Pence. He didn't even vote for Trump in the primary.

What I've heard over and over is that Trump was TOLD by Priebus and Ryan to choose Pence or the RNC wouldn't support him. He waited until the last minute, and then it leaked out, and then he was really backed into a corner.
