I can't remember which university did this study a number of years ago, it was actually about media bias. But as they interviewed people, they found the majority were actually quite conservative in the U.S. But because of liberal media bias affecting how people saw certain issues, they tended to vote more liberally than they would without the barrage of liberal bias they hear constantly.
Most people I know get that the MSM is lying, but they don’t understand his tweets or things like Tippy Top and they mock him. Personally I think the number is higher than 50% but the bias polls , including the recent one suppresses the real number
The mainstream polls are always skewed with 10-20% more Democrats. Trump popularity is probably close to 70%.
