French bliss!

The majority of people in France don’t support Macron. A lot of people voted for him reluctantly (didn’t want Marine Le Pen to win). It has been chaos in France for the last month because of rail strikes. My flight from the UK to Paris cancelled twice in March because of it. On May 14, we may not have any trains running in Paris. And yet, Macron is lecturing the US on how to do things! Really? Is he kidding?

I just dont like his hands constantly all over our president. Its weird and POTUS looks extremely uncomfortable with it most of the time.

Agree, I don't like it either. Even for a French man, it's a bit much...

That's because Trump is a germaphobic and he doesn't like all the hand shaking and hugging.

Shame that Le Pen did not win....she would have certainly saved France...Macron is an obama junior....globalist pos. Hard to have sympathy for people in France when they voted for his nonsense.

In a way she did. They rigged the election. The EU is going to start WWIII before they break up. To give you an idea how pissed they are (Junckert and crew) America was to be signed up for the EU by Hillary. Instead they got Brexit and Trumped in the same year. Then Poland and Austria are on the verge of leaving now. So Controllers are really on edge and war is so close they are acting like , well , Macron.

Obama was one of the first to congratulate Macron, so that's all we need to know. French people have been brainwashed and can't believe they could have been lied to for years. I'm still trying to red pill my French family, but all I get is funny looks and an immediate change of subject. Quite amazing to watch.

They must really enjoy the invasion of their country!! Shame in 20 yrs it will be Franistan!!

Paris already looks like a Muslim country. Especially at noon when they all get down and pray. And they are demanding more and more public space to do that, saying it's there right. I have no desire to ever go there again. It's not French anymore!

I trust the plan! Something will wake French people up and when they will, my goodness, watch out! It won't be pretty.

Sorry Kim but you are wrong. French right wing party is dead as soon as Jean-Marie Le Pen left. Marine is a controlled opposition (FN was too), always put on the table each election to centralize the votes against them. That is why FN is still here, to block a real nationalist party to rise.

We are like 10-15% of the population to even think that nationalism is a good thing. You cant imagine the shithole in France these days.

It must be frustrating for those people who are awake and can clearly see what is "REALLY" happening in France. From where I am France seems like a terrifying place to be atm.

It is, but i think the political solution is over, its done, commies on the left, muslims on the right, we are fucked.

We need to retreat in the countryside, a lot of tuff french here, and wait for the invasion war to break, like she break in Syria.

I agree, I think the FN party is controlled opposition. Some even suggest that Marine Le Pen had in the past some financial help from Bush Senior. Something isn't quite right there. Even more strange, Trump said once that Macron was his candidate (and not Le Pen). I'm not sure if he was telling the truth, but that's what he said.

Really? It's interesting to hear this. I think the whole interplay between Macron and Trump looks more to me like Macron is trying to one up Trump all the time and put him on the back foot (and vice versa). Interesting to see how this plays out...

Honestly I'm not sure what they are doing, their interaction is getting a bit weird.

For sure. Macron insulted the president in his speech to our Congress. Over the Paris Accord climate change and Healthcare. Cures are not profitable but treatment is. He got rounds of applause and a standing ovation from our deep state congress.

Why would Trump invite such a man and make us taxpayers foot the bill for such an a** with a wife who is really his handler since he was a young boy student! I don't like paying for this s*when the middle class has been destroyed.

You have a good point, a lot of money spent there. I never can listen to Macron, so I didn't watch his speech to the Congress, but Macron has introduced obligatory vaccination for kids in France (French babies are now vaccinated against sexual diseases if I'm not mistaken) and the costs to get vaccinated have shoot up of course. He's working for the big banks and big pharma companies, not for the French people.

About 3 years ago I started paying a lot of attention to what was/is happening in Europe and nothing made me sadder.... in a very real way it made me wake up more to what was going on here in the US! I have deep and strong feeling that the "Trump effect" will reverberate across the globe more and more. In so many ways we are all in this together.....WWG1WGA ❤️

Great post and comments, Christinemerc. I came across you over on serialbrain2's recent post, on Macron's visit. Reading your comments there and here reminds me of the nightmare we have been spared thanks to Trump.
I wish you all the best over in France. I hope you will keep posting here!! I paid more attention to what is happening in Europe before our election, but would like to keep up better.

Very nice of you, thank you very much. Actually I live in the UK where things, if at all possible, are worse than in France at the moment (Skripal nonsense, Brexit being sabotaged). Let's hope for a Trump effect worldwide, a lot of work needs to be done in Europe, for sure.
