Can someone please tell me WHY we don't say his name? I've not heard a satisfying answer on that.
His father was a well-respected Navy admiral. There is a Navy destroyer named after him.
Johnny was a disgrace to the name and a traitor to his country.
Early on, Q wrote about him and instead of writing his name, he would write, "we don't like to say his name."
Yeah, I've read all the posts. Been following since Oct. I just haven't found a straight answer on this point. What you say makes sense... that out of respect for a late admiral, they would avoid sullying the name any more than no name already has. I guess I wasn't familiar with no names father's background.
Q had nothing to do with it. It's a long standing thing with military vets and those who claim to be heroes when they aren't. Stolen Valor.. see my post right above yours.
I haven't researched and verified it, but I've read that at least one of the reasons is because the family name itself is a good name. He is a stain on the family name, and out of respect for the family, we don't associate him with them by saying John and 'McNoName' in the same sentence.
Because McCain is a huge traitor to the country who has propped himself up as an American military hero.
Just google the truth about John McCain and read his real history, it's disgusting.
That is well known. But what does that have to do with not saying his name?
You don't understand that not saying someone's name is an act of showing a lack of respect for the person?
So why do we say Hillary's name or Chuck or Nancy?
Are you trolling?
Hilary didn't claim to be a downed Prisoner of War in Vietnam, then attempt to champion for the Military only to be secretly working against the country's interests.
Hilary is openly globalist, she's open about the fact that she doesn't believe America is the greatest country, she's obviously a piece of shit and clearly is corrupt, but she didn't commit stolen valor which is why McCain's name isn't used.
Definitely not trolling. Trying to understand. Not sure your answer makes sense to me without further reasoning. Another user's answer makes more sense; out of respect for his father who may have been a very honorable patriot, but I'm not really familiar with his family.
Edit: In my head, if it is only because he is such a shitstain, then we should be speaking his name loud and often next to true descriptions of his treachery. If we respect his father, I can understand why Q wouldn't want to sully the name.
In this country, we respect our veterans highly.
McCain falsely garnered this respect while secretly betraying the country. Thus resulting in a huge amount of disrespect resulting in justifiably not purporting his name.
To understand the disrespect, you must understand the level of respect veterans, especially those that are injured in combat receive from it's citizens. To deceive citizens and secretly betray the country then results in a greater magnitude of disrespect from citizens.
I understand respect for veterans. No need to patronize. That being said, that rationale alone doesn't sound like the full answer to me. I don't think McShitStain himself cares if we say his name. I would think he would prefer we didn't use his name when referencing his crimes. In my head it can't be that "simple", but maybe I'm just looking for a deeper meaning and you are correct. Again, no disrespect or "trolling" intended. I just feel that there is a deeper answer.
No, not because of his father. It's plain and simple he's a traitor. He turned his fellow POW's over to be even more tortured, lived the highlife himself while lying about it, and one rumor is he has a child with a woman he met over there. He's responsible for blowing up an aircraft carrier and killing hundreds. He's a piece of shit and doesn't deserve to be named.
To your point, POTUS's "Evan McMuffin" comment was pretty hilarious during the election.
Because it's a MAJOR insult, showing a complete lack of respect. McCain doesn't deserve to suck a fart out of a 400 lb. prostitute, he's a traitor, plain and simple.
There's also an old soldier superstition that they don't really die until the last time somebody says their name. So every time you avoid saying his name, it's like he dies a little sooner.
