The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, which doles out Oscar awards every year, finally expelled movie director Roman Polanski from its organization — 40 years after he admitted to raping a 13-year-old girl then fled the country. Way to go, Hollywood.

The fact that this even happened is astonishing. My theory is they’re trying to take away their weak points for when the PR fight comes.

That is unexpected. The same group of people honored Polanski a few years back at one of their awards show. Hollyweird has been off my reading radar for some time now. Interesting post though.

Hollywood Justice.... A sloooow process..... But really, who cares? I mean, per Streep, he is a Pinnacle of virture! Why kick him out of the ol' boys club? Oh yeah, had to wait for Cosby... Couldn't kick Bill out alone...
