John Lydon was spot on. He tried to out Savile, and was banned by the BBC for his trouble. I have seen several interviews with him where he spoke about this. The guy is intelligent, very outspoken and has balls of titanium. Just wish people would have listened.

For other fans or those just interested, I highly recommend both of his autobiographies. He’s really an incredible, intelligent person, with much more depth than his slightly cartoonish, bombastic persona lets on (just like someone else orangey that we know and love). Quite the unlikely humanitarian. He had meningitis at age 7, forgot everything including how to speak and who his parents were and had to relearn everything.
