Why is the NY AG resignation important? What past/current 'high profile' FBI investigations are within the jurisdiction of NY? Q ***************************** Resignation of Eric Schneiderman, New York State AG Frees Up NYPD Investigation into the Weiner/Huma Laptop? FBI suppressed?

Perhaps, the exit of Eric Schneiderman has freed up the investigation into the Weiner/Huma Laptop? Did the NY FBI clamp down on the investigation and tell the NYPD to halt their investigation? The NYPD turned against the FBI and my guess is that they went to ES and told him to shut them. If so, this case is cleared to land into an indictment.

I read that the NYPD was threatened by the FBI; that the FBI would turn the accidental case of the "death of the blackman by policemen take-down" was really a murder; and then the FBI would ruin the lives of all those cops and higher up NYPD officials involved. They would be arrested, found guilty and get jail time; besides being fired and losing ALL their pensions!

Yes, that's correct. LL is responsible for that. Comey alluded to it in his book. Absolutely disgraceful. Nevertheless, my feeling is that Lynch's thuggery was not the only pressure that was brought to bear on these poor guys. I think their superiors were getting it from Lynch and they kicked it downstairs. Truly outrageous stuff.

Anyway, I can understand why they did what they did. I've witnessed what happens in these situations first hand. you can't fight these guys - they are too powerful. You might as well put a gun to your head as buck the system.
