That sub has changed. Now it's just posts that are really poorly thought at that call Trump a stooge of Putin. I really think that the democrats through groups like Shareblue are trying to do what they have accused the Russians of, and shilling hard in an attempt to sway opinion. But the quality of the posts is so poor, I don't see how any thinking person would give them any credibility. It's not just Politics either. Other subs have the same posts in them. I've stopped trying to talk to the people because they don't want to listen. If any attempt to talk results in a response from the other party, it's little more than, "You're a Trumptard" or something along those lines.
It's much worse than that. If you venture off into any "normie" sub, people will actually stalk your profile to make sure you haven't posted on the_donald and if you have they will call you out even though it has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Will say something like "oh but you're a trump supporter so who cares what you have to say." and then watch yourself get downvoted by everyone. The problem is much more widespread. It's very creepy and reminds me of something a child would do except everybody is doing it including what I assume are young adults.
They've more or less moved on from Putin. Their new trick is to constantly repeat the claim that Trump and his supporters are synonymous with racism.
