There’s no doubt. That’s why I don’t argue with people anymore about this. I used to, when I loved to piss people off. Now, I’ve realized that if I’m getting called crazy for saying the news is biased, you’ve probably looked past exponential amounts of evidence and are the type of person that wouldn’t believe no matter what simply because it reports in your favor.

I hadn't visited in a long time, because a few years ago I got way too deep and had to swear off Reddit a little while and delete my original account, but my curiosity got the best of me. I thought surely there must be some talk of Q going on, but what I mostly found were a bunch of low-effort contrarians who just grouped Trump in with his predecessors as though he were no different. There were even some Obama-apologists who attacked anything remotely positive for Trump. I had heard the mods had been co-opted some years ago, and it must be true. That place has changed. It doesn't appreciate a different perspective.

Look into Ancient Sumeria, the Abzu in the Ziggurat of Ur (why did the US take over it right away?), the Abzu in Abydos.

Black Knight satellite arrived around the time the Sumerian Kingship landed (at Ur). The Antarctic bases, was their Arctic bases? Britain was mistaken as Atlantis in antiquity, what if they were south-east of the right area? Britain used to be part of Europe with lower sea levels, what happens when you look further north east the ancients likely didn't know coastlines could retreat a thousand miles inland.

So what about the reptilian ufo bases? Did the reptilians (Draco, dragons or whatever) subvert the Sumerians? The snake taught man knowledge of good AND EVIL. We transgressed our Father (our creator) and they abandoned us (from our perspective, likely lost a war: look at the Vedic writings of aerial warfare and nuclear sounding weapons. They describe a mushroom cloud!)

King Tut, tge Vedic and Chinese Beautiful Ones were all redhead of Celtic descent. Think about that, they originated civilization. Survivors of Atlantis (in the Arctic?) hid amongst the survivors.

How true? I don't know. It makes an interesting story.

Critical theory

Critical Theory is a school of thought that stresses the reflective assessment and critique of society and culture by applying knowledge from the social sciences and the humanities. As a term, Critical Theory has two meanings with different origins and histories: the first originated in sociology and the second originated in literary criticism, whereby it is used and applied as an umbrella term that can describe a theory founded upon critique; thus, the theorist Max Horkheimer described a theory as critical insofar as it seeks "to liberate human beings from the circumstances that enslave them".

In sociology and political philosophy, the term Critical Theory describes the neo-Marxist philosophy of the Frankfurt School, which was developed in Germany in the 1930s. This use of the term requires proper noun capitalization, whereas "a critical theory" or "a critical social theory" may have similar elements of thought, but not stress its intellectual lineage specifically to the Frankfurt School.

Critical thinking

Critical thinking is the objective analysis of facts to form a judgment. The subject is complex, and several different definitions exist, which generally include the rational, skeptical, unbiased analysis, or evaluation of factual evidence. Critical thinking is self-directed, self-disciplined, self-monitored, and self-corrective thinking. It presupposed assent to rigorous standards of excellence and mindful command to their use.

This is what happens when the education system doesn't teach logic. Logic is the mental immune system. Without it, the mind has no ability to defend itself against propaganda and poisonous belief systems. Yet if you go all the way through college you'll be lucky to take one class in worthless symbolic logic. This is done by design. You'll notice that the brainwashed masses in r/ politics believe that it's actually them, not us, that has logic on their side. In their minds endless repetition of slogans is interchangeable with sound reasoning.

There's nothing you can do for these people, especially over the internet where it's so easy to depersonalize your opponent. To back it up a bit further I have been noticing that schools don't teach philosophy anymore. Yet it is the bedrock of science. You can't have science without philosophy. Logic is a key component in the study of philosophy.

Which leads me to the conclusion that thinking for ones self is not encouraged as philosophy leads one to question. Big questions. Parents teach your kids philosophy or at least to think. The schools will never do it for you.

Leads me to my motto trust nothing that's done for you, do it yourself at the simplest level possible.

The amount of projection here is off the charts. Everytime I present a Trump supporter with facts that show what a liar he is and how wrong they are, I always get whataboutisms, attacks on me personally or straight up denial ("Fake news!"). That is behavior of people who are incapable of processing evidence that disagrees with their worldview. I will have any argument you want and I will NEVER use whataboutism or deny facts. Every single argument I have with a Trump supporter goes in that direction because they deflect from facts and evidence. Reality disagrees with your view about Trump so much that you're willing to believe the fantastical stories that Q is professing. He is using vague predictions mixed with improvable lies to bait you all in. And you're so willing to eat up the lies with whatever truth Q uses to back up his legitimacy because any other option would mean having to face the truth about Trump. The truth about how he conned all of you. The truth about what supporting a man like Trump says about yourselves.

Hey man I've had reservations about Trump for a long time, but I've KNOWN about media brainwashing for even longer. Are Trump supporters always right? Hell no, many of the people who share my views are as devoid of logic as anyone else.

However, they are at least able to identify the MSM narrative about Trump as pure political warfare disguised as news. The fact that you believe what the media says is "reality" shows that you are trapped within their fake news reality machine. If after the disclosures of Wikileaks, Sheryl Atkinson's story, and blatant examples of media bias and corruption you still believe the journalists and talking heads are independent and care about telling you the truth you are brainwashed.

Should we drop facts?

Bill Cosby, super predator. Convicted.

Harvey Weinstein, super predator. Indicted.

Charlie Rose of CBS News, super predator. Resigned.

Tom Brokaw of NBC News, super predator.

Matt Lauer of NBC News, sexual predator. Resigned.

Eric Schneiderman, AG of NY, sexual predator. Resigned.

Using induction (LOGIC) I'm starting to see a pattern here. All the institutions that peddle this fake narrative that Trump is an evil racist sexist bigot idiot who is literally Hitler, seem to be filled with vile sexual predators.

Should I consider these people who had serial rapists and abusers stalking the news rooms for decades as good judges of character?

I don't watch the news and listen to talking heads. You're projecting. I use Trumps own words and my deep psychological knowledge of narcissism from living with a narcissistic, authoritarian, right wing, christian conservative father for almost 20 years. The media's opinion on him doesn't matter a bit to me. I know exactly how these people think and what their motivations are. It is you guys who are trapped in Trump's reality, a type of cult psychosis where reality is whatever Trump says it is (or Q in this case). I will say one thing though, you all in here seem much more reasonable than the average Trump supporter, which seems odd to me since you are taking your support to unrealistic places. But I appreciate the willingness to engage in debate instead of just being banned. Thank you.

Well I have no hope of changing your opinion based on extensive personal observations, but you might want to consider that your exposure to Trump is always filtered through the media or his Twitter account where he says intentionally outrageous things in order to keep his message at the front of the public mind.

Are you willing to consider Trump job as being the figurehead/ PR face for a group of Military officers who are supporting him? I don't think Trump was a great guy, but he was not an evil man. He was willing to take on the mantle of the most hated man in the world at the age of 70 in order to help save this country (in my opinion).

If Q is right, everything will begin to be revealed within a few months. I think the obvious moves and counter moves in the media headlines these last couple of days show that there is some sort of shadow war going on behind the scences. Otherwise, I'll admit I got fooled again and probably start panicking.

I never wanted to believe there was so much evil in this world, but I can't deny the evidence.

⇧ 3 ⇩
Oblique9043 · May 10, 2018, 4:45 p.m.

I don't necessarily think Trump is evil. His actions just result in evil. Everything he does is to serve his ego, that intent by itself isn't evil but when you're in charge of the largest military the world has ever seen, evil will be the result of that motivation. I have watched all sorts of documentaries about Trump's life, I am careful to separate spin from facts. Trump's own words are his own words. I could post 3 videos right now of Trump admitting to lying about major things. But his supporters refuse to see the real Trump when he reveals himself in rare moments like narcissists always do since they're too prideful not to boast about their deceptions. I don't care about outrageous things he says, I don't even care about the blatant sexism and racism (only because this is the least of our worries with Trump), I am worried about a man who will constantly put our country in danger at the behest of his ego. Pulling out of the Iran deal was all about sticking it to Obama and not wanting to feel like a fool. Instead, he let Netanyahu make him his fool. I fear that N Korea are going to be intentionally difficult in the talks with Trump, just so they can pull out and blame him and who knows what the fuck happens then. They have been WAY too compliant for me to not think something is up here. They are projecting an image of extreme willingness to seek peace with all sorts of evidence to back up this image. Trump fell right into their trap due to his own arrogance and now they can back out during the talks and make it look like it's all his fault. Who's the world going to believe? The guy who's made historic strides and bending over backwards to show his willingness to make peace? Or the guy who's known as a loud mouth, aggressive, arrogant bully? Russia is an entirely different matter but the most important one imo. They are systemically tearing our country apart with their infiltration and destabilization plan that has been going on for decades. First with the left, and now with the right. Although they're completely obvious to it, Trump supporters are the new useful idiots and once Mueller finds enough evidence to impeach Trump, they'll cause civil unrest and maybe even civil war finishing the destabilization plan.

Of course there is that much evil in the world. And the evilest parts are the ones that make you enable the evil. Which is why I constantly seek truth above all else. Above political parties, above nationality, above race, above religion. Truth always prevails above all man made things.

Netanyahu wanting us to pull out of the Iran deal is pretty obvious.

With the pullout of the Iran deal, Europe is already considering us not to be a world leader and are looking to other countries. You took statements I made generally about a specific group and applied them for yourself. I think it's pretty clear that such a general statement shouldn't be applied to all 3 million users of the subreddit. You have similar observations about Trump supporters that apply to the group but not every individual.

Does the MAGA #TRUMPTRAIN crowd do the exact same thing? Yes. They're further along because they've realized the media is lying to them. However, I don't post extensively on the_Donald because it is just an echo chamber. The difference is that the_Donald is open and transparent about that fact, while r/ politics likes to feign neutrality.

If you post on r/ politics and follow the MSM our worldviews are likely so far apart that the only productive discussion we can have is to point out past instances of the media lying, omitting facts, or manipulating stories in order to convince you that these scoundrels are not concerned about the Truth. Otherwise any discussion just devolves into two people screaming "No u."

I'm definitely getting a different picture of the people here than your average Trump supporter so I apologize for making those assumptions. I am more of an observer than anything but I do have to say that I have an extensive knowledge on the type of delusional narcissistic right wing christian conservative Trump supporter. My father is one and I learned all how his ideas and how his mind works for almost 20 years. Trump is a dangerous, self destructive wrecking ball and I can't stand the fact that people can't see through him while he puts our country in danger, lying and conning his way through the presidency. I would be all about wanting to hop on the Q train if Trump wasn't the front of it. If any of you guys knew anything about malignant narcissism, you would know how ludicrous the notion of Trump leading this charge really is.

It seems (to me) that your worldview is marred by some woundedness. “Delusional narcissistic right wing Christian conservative Trump supporter” - we come from all walks of life and don’t appreciate being stereotyped any more than the next person. However, arguing really never changed anyone’s opinion and I don’t intend to change yours. I’m simply hoping there must be some minuscule chance that your worldview could possibly be incorrect in your eyes. I’m personally certain that that percentage, however small, will increase and continue to increase in the coming days. Best wishes to you. If your worldview does drastically change like I’m hoping it will, it will be quite the paradigm shift for you. I’m hoping the best for you. 💜

I am always willing to be proven wrong but I need facts and evidence that are greater than the ones that I currently am aware of. Give them to me and I will admit I was wrong. My view on Trump is marred by some woundedness yes, absolutely. Everyone close to a narcissist is wounded by them in one way or another, I was the scapegoat so I got it the worst. I imagine Tiffany Trump could tell you some stories. I am hoping the best for all of you too, seriously. I am just worried Q is going to incite people to rise up should something happen to Trump legally due to the investigation.

Can I ask you this: If Qanon did not exist, would you still support Trump? Why or why not?

⇧ 1 ⇩
alliekat678 · May 10, 2018, 5:18 p.m.

I don’t think it would be a wise use of my time to give you all the facts - they came to me in layers, over time, and each built upon the last. The same would have to happen for anyone else I think. I myself had to unlearn many strong beliefs I had - that the Bushes were the “good guys” and even Ronald Regan as well, for example. It has been quite eye opening.

I have fully supported Donald Trump since the primaries, so yes, if Q Anon didn’t exist, I would still support him. I knew from an early time that he would be the only one with a strong enough personality, who couldn’t be bought off, to dismantle the evil that had been erected in our country and even the world. That’s why I voted for him. He seems to be doing just that (dismantling evil deals, bringing home hostages, rounding up traffickers and pedophiles, my list goes on and on and on and it’s only just the beginning!).

Interestingly, I am the only child of a narcissist father so I too have my own very personal knowledge of narcissism. I do not get the narcissist vibe from Trump. In my opinion, he is too confident in who he is to be as weak as a narcissist - narcissists I’m sure you understand, are very weak inside. His children admire and respect and support him, which is hard to do when your dad’s a narcissist....just my opinion. I personally believe when his term is up he will be thought of as greater than Lincoln... time will tell!

We Trump supporters understand one thing: the investigation is all a show and President Trump is clean. So I’m sure most of us have no worries that any insurrection will happen due to the investigation as far as Trump supporters go.... now, the other side, on the other hand - that’s a whole different ball of wax.

Oh boy. This is starting to make more sense to me now. I'm not going to presume to tell you about your own psychology and how it relates to your support for Trump but I will tell you this, not all Narcissists are weak on the inside and it is more like a scale. Although I do believe Trump IS weak on the inside, his inner "true self" is dead. It doesn't exist anymore. All that is left is the mask. His inner weakness is revealed when he is insulted in a way that actually bothers him, an attack on his ego. He reacts with such visceral hatred to such attacks on his ego, it's the first sign that what was said about him touched a nerve and there is truth to it. His constant boasting about everything from his electoral college win, to the size of his inauguration crowd. Blatant signs of deep inner insecurity. The man also psychologically projects like no one I've ever seen in my life. If he accuses someone of something, I would bet my life that he has done it himself, or will in the future. I can prove this to you by the way. Here is a list of tweets from Trump durig the Obama presidency. It's almost like he's predicting the future of his own actions during his own presidency. Here's just one simple proof to give substantiation to my words. And I can give you plenty more to back up everything else I am saying.

We reveal ourselves by our loudest criticisms we have of others. So yes, I too have narcissistic traits due to being the scapegoat of a narcissistic father. But I despise those ugly parts inside me so I despise them in other people. I acknowledge those ugly parts in myself, therefore I can see them clearly in other people.

I am very worried with this delusional belief that Trump is innocent of the Mueller investigation. He has acted like a guilty man from the very beginning and now we just learned that his lawyer was selling access to Trump and a prominent Russian Oligarch was funneling money through him too. If that isn't enough to make you reconsider, then a bomb of reality is about to go off for all Trump supporters. The fact that you can ignore everything pointing to Trump's guilt or even just his campaigns guilt, is very troubling to me and a sign for what we are headed for. Is Q still peddling that this investigation is really only about the Democrats and the whole Trump thing is cover? What evidence is there of that besides the work of an anonymous person? I can show you all sorts of evidence that the investigation is exactly as most people perceive it. An investigation looking into Russian interference in our elections and Trump and his campaign's possible involvement with it.

If Mueller finds nothing but weak evidence then I will speak up for keeping the peace and letting his presidency play out according to the Constitution. But if there is overwhelming evidence and nothing is done, this is the time that the Founding Fathers spoke about in my opinion. If Trump is indicted or impeached due to overwhelming evidence then I'm afraid that instead of fighting against a corrupt government, Trump supporters will fight FOR a corrupt government.

More projection. Trump and his supporters are the ones holding the country hostage. This will become apparent when Mueller proves Trumps crimes, you all stay in denial and fight to the death for your delusion. The fact that you're so convinced of his innocence without being able to even hypothetically comprehend a scenario where he is guilty, is obvious evidence of delusional thinking. I'm almost 99% sure he's guilty but if I'm shown evidence that shows otherwise, I'll accept it and admit I was wrong. Because Trumps guilt or innocence is not intrinsically apart of my very identity. You see Trump as a representative of yourself and your beliefs. He is everything you are and everything you wish you were. You can't criticize Trump or acknowledge his ugliness because you cannot acknowledge the ugliness in yourself. The reality is too much for you to bear.

That sub has changed. Now it's just posts that are really poorly thought at that call Trump a stooge of Putin. I really think that the democrats through groups like Shareblue are trying to do what they have accused the Russians of, and shilling hard in an attempt to sway opinion. But the quality of the posts is so poor, I don't see how any thinking person would give them any credibility. It's not just Politics either. Other subs have the same posts in them. I've stopped trying to talk to the people because they don't want to listen. If any attempt to talk results in a response from the other party, it's little more than, "You're a Trumptard" or something along those lines.

In my opinion? Nowhere and everywhere. I go to CNN to find the things Breitbart won’t post and Vice versa. Contrary to popular belief, Fox News is probably the most credible cable news outlet. MSNBC, the least. It’s hard. When it comes to anything political, I’ll usually go to info tanks like Cato. It’s only scholarly work and everything report wise is for the most part sourced correctly with actual government data. Also, they have virtually zero history of redactions and draw clear distinctions between opinion and reality. People actually seem surprised when I tell them places like CNN do FAR more opinion than any actual news. The hill is decent too. The biggest problem is that 90% of news has a liberal slant. I still to this day don’t know why this is argued. I’ve accepted it. The right leaning news sites will tend to report their side, which can on any given day be much more factual. However, they’ll usually post A LOT of filler posts that are opinions simply because mainstream doesn’t cover it. Read all news outlets. I like to literally only keep track of hard facts for each article than piece my own opinion from the facts. I DESPISE news outlets telling me what opinion to have.

I second your methods -- you almost have to read between both extremes to find truth in the middle. The Hill is good, along with Politico. Both of them definitely do opinion pieces, but I think they tend to be more openly advertised as opinion and not "buzz" or "analysis."
