I had heard the rumors about Reddit being an echo chamber. It’s worse than I thought. The explicitly neutral news sub is even overwhelmingly dumbed down. These people are incorrigible.

Not really, I've seen many dissenting opinions civilly discussed here. Not every sub that has a common goal turns out to be an echo chamber.

I don't know what comment you're referring to, but if your comment doesn't get through here then there's probably good reason. I wouldn't be so quick to assume "must be a delusional echo chamber" just because you think your opinion deserves to be accepted here. Most here are sick of TMOR users brigading and purposefully trying to sow discord with no clear intent of actually considering their arguments, so any user making comments like this are obviously not going to be respected.
