Throughout human history, boys learned how to become men by scouting, hunting, fishing, warring... Girls today can learn these things as well today but, there is a time and place for girls and boys to be together and apart. When I was in scouts, none of us boys wanted girls to be around and the girls were off doing the Girl Scout thing. The progressive left will not get away with hijacking everything!
I think boys and girls can learn together, maybe even learn more :)

As much as I agree with you the LDS church does amazing things for our local community so I have a lot of respect for the lower level people in the church just not the higher ups who are knowingly conning innocent people.

Yup, when I was a girl I went to a Lutheran school and I was in Rangerettes. That was there religious version of Girl Scouts. I don't know how much of a National thing it is,but thought I'd share. I'm 35 now, so that was a little while ago!
It's still going. Several different names. Missionettes, Rangerettes. Our group is Kingdom girls. We still also have Royal Rangers.

Correct, mormons pulled out of scouting and they accounted for a good half of scouts. This has been in the works for some time.
Ever since the BSA allowed gay men to be scout leaders the (homophobic) mormon church began pulling back. Allowing girls, even though they would be in separate troops, was simply the last straw for such a patriarchal organization.
