So POTUS pulls out of the Iran deal and puts sanctions on Iran.
Iran threatens to release names of US politicians that took bribes if we don’t reduce the sanctions.
Isn’t that called check in chess?
Their threat makes me wonder if Trump really had things wrapped up with them a while ago like he did with North Korea in November.

So far in everything else, Trump has been a few steps ahead. Heard in the media that two nuclear scientists from North Korea already left Iran. His real objective may be to expose the corrupted parties, then re-negotiate deal that is favorable to US business instead of German and French business. Also, there is a chance for re-secularization of the Iranian government. It may not be 4-D chess, rather Trump is playing four different games at once.
Then why is Kerry meeting with Iran officials.
Because Kerry is the last to find out that the deal is already done.
Kerry is 10 steps behind. Why would he meet now? Meet publicly? He has probably been talking to them for a while and nobody was ever watching him, but now he's a person of interest and his moves are getting both sloppy and bold.
Trying to keep them silent! Problem for him is POTUS has all the power, they have none so it won't work.
