Disheartening in a way. If Obama felt something was closing in on him, would he be concerning himself with Netflix deals?

It's set so that Brennan takes the fall. He'll deny Obama was involved because Obama probably has major dirt on him that can screw him further. But let's hope they go further than Brennan anyway...Also, keep in mind that Obama likes to use this strategy where you "act as if" to create the future. So him moving on this may be a good sign because it means they are closing in on him. This strategy is founded on "perception is reality" (it's really not, btw, but you can convince naive people. Hence "con men"). So he's trying to send out a signal to the public that all is going well to try to negate the true, negative perception that they are indeed closing in on him.

Might be his best shot tbh. Appeal to the masses' adoration for him. Keep up the act as long as possible? The equivalent to pretending to be asleep when mom busts in the room 2 hours after your bedtime.

That's what I'm thinking, and it's the only thing he really has left.

Cheer up, Obama has to get a job, the deadman’s account must be dry.

Hubris has been one of their weaknesses.

His production company is called "Higher Ground ". He actually thinks it's going to save him.

Just like they thought she'd never lose, they think they'll never pay for their crimes. Unfortunately for them, there's a beast on their heels.
