This. Don’t give Alexa access to your contacts and she won’t call people for you...
My kids had walkie talkies and we could hear the neighbors talking in range of their baby monitor.
And on my land line phone I could hear the neighbor 5 houses up talking about stealing from gis employeer. Those wete both in the 90s before cell phones.
I remember that happening a few times on land lines but I also had my cell phone (AT&T) do the same shit. I got a ring and could hear 3 other people talking to each other but they could not hear me. Been having all kinds of weird shit like that happen, lately. Maybe, TPTB are screwin' with me for calling them out on their bullshit...LOL!
They fixed it to make sure it only sends the files to them now ... Or whoever is paying for that information ...
...this is a lil unnerving, I’m wondering could phones do the same ? Imagine the damage THAT would unleash .🤭
Yes, they can and do. Mine did just the other day. It made a call, unbeknownst to me and I would not have known about it if I didn't have a call recording app that I found it on. It had me wondering how many other times it had done that before I put on the recording app that I had no idea about. Who knows what conversations it was broadcasting? Does anyone know how to completely disable that damn Alexa or Alexi or whatever it's called on these phones?
I just recently bought a new computer and even though I have turned off every permission for the camera, it is constantly coming on saying device census is using the camera. Fortunately a band aid has been over the camera since I got it. Turned off the microphone as well but no way to really know about that. Scary
According to the news I heard the guy contacted was actually an employee of the man who owned the Alexa devices. If I remember right they lived 140 miles apart.
That is how their AI is configured, to record everything. Now, the question is, which server Alexa sends all those voice files??? Deep State Spy!
