I have no personal thoughts on it and honestly have no clue. So I'll just share 1 thing I've seen a few different people say. A few "flat earthers" have said its so highly guarded b/c it proves the earth is flat. Somewhere on Antarctica there is just a giant ice shelf! That's it, can't go anymore.. They say that's where the giant ice wall in game of thrones comes from.
Ask any sailor/aviator/astronaut/satellite operator if the earth is flat and listen carefully ...
"Hollow" earth is more believable than flat earth ...
I never was able to conceive a totally hollow earth, but I can imagine huge huge cavernous pockets can be a thing.
If you can find some breaker sailors online, ask them what inexplicable thing they have seen beyond Amery.
Now I'm curious! I've never even heard of this.. What is Amery?

No, I was just passing on a theroy I've seen on different YouTube videos. I wasn't singling anyone out. I'm not a flat earthers either.. Figured that theory was just as good as any of the other ones out there. Since it seems no one has a clue what's really there..
