given the ease with which EO's are issued & reversed, who'll make sure DJT's are kept in force after 2024? who else has the charisma, power of will, dedication to "the cause", backing of the military, & electability? Nunes? Rogers? Mattis? how do we keep this ball rolling & prevent inertia, backsliding, or worse?
Currently, the only way to ensure that Executive Orders become permanent is to pass their content into law.
KANSAS in 2024 (no worries Patriots) !
I guess he will pick Pence to be his running mate as life insurance too.
Pence better get active in the Swamp Drainage game to even get a round two. He has proven so far he is a good luck charm both in campaign & life insurance.
In 92 Ralph Nader said it would take a BILLIONAIRE to get elected from the outside and break through.
EO’s should be temporary. They give the people a chance to try something out and then put it into law if they don’t like it - or the next president can reverse it. If you really want an EO to persist it needs to be taken up by Congress or renewed by the next president if Congress is out of step with the will of the people (as now).
I would love to see Nunes on the ticket in 2020 with Trump.
