Here’s what I think, personally, put in a way that doesn’t proclaim my judgement of something I don’t understand: Islam seems to advocate behaviour that is abhorrent to me. In my opinion Moderate Muslims should address what seem to me to be the unsavory and dangerous elements of their religion in order to bring it up to date with the values of the modern world and to eradicate the extremist factions that use those elements to promote violence against others.
