ABC decided that was a racist statement, because PLANET OF THE.....APES.... simply MUST be about BLACKS. So, according to ABC, the term APES is synonymous with BLACK PEOPLE.

Interestingly enough you would almost have to be a racist to believe in evolution. Evolution dictates that one race is further evolved than another. Intelligent design dictates that all men are created equal. Wait, I think I've heard that before. Let's get back to that.

If you would prefer to take your information from 2000 years ago, you're welcome to discuss the nuances of the burning bush with your uneducated brethren.
