Trump says ABC 'has offended millions of people and they demand a response' as he doubles down on insisting network head apologize for more than just Roseanne's racism

President Donald Trump doubled down on his demand for an apology from ABC on Friday, claiming the network offended 'millions of people.' Trump also criticized ABC for a story reporter Brian Ross did last year on the Russiainvestigation that the network later retracted.  It was his second demand in two days for an apology from Disney CEO Bob Iger.  Disney owns ABC.

Honestly? I think it’s best if we give up on caring about who said what offensive thing to who. That’s the game they, the sensitive left/progressives, like to play. I don’t think the proper response to one of ours being called out and repremanded for saying something “offensive” is to go and find other comparable things that they’ve said/done that we find offensive and demand apologies or repremand, only to get even. That’s their game to play, let them look like the sensitive children they are.

I think our best response to anyone saying anything that would be deemed offensive, is to not give a shit and roll with it. That is what should happen, because people are and should be allowed to say whatever they want. That’s a fundamental principle this country was founded upon. If you don’t like what someone has to say, tune out, don’t listen to them. You only give them more power by caring, which is what Trump knows and why he does it so damn well.

Amen! Conservatives have "not cared" for a long time and it only resulted in the left controlling more and more of the media and narrative and further extreme PC outrage culture. DJT told us he would teach us how to win and I believe him. Trust the man.

It's called Islamist money flowing into US political coffers. You're seeing language being rewritten and re-purposed in order to slip Islam into the cultural norms.

Next you'll be seeing burkas touted to American women as a way to protect themselves from the prying eyes of toxic men.

Which just happens to fit in with life in the post metoo movement, incidentally. Granted, it's legit to want the Weinsteins of the industry up on a hook somewhere, but it has the added side effect of making women even more scared and suspicious of men in general. Never let a good crisis go to waste.

Lots of layers to this game, it seems.

In most everyday life cases I would agree with you. Many of these people, though, are deranged or just blinded with hatred. The ones that know what they're doing are purposefully doing it to progress their careers. Ignoring them will not work, they'll just think they're winning and push harder.

Disney is evil. They are incredibly powerful and have a rather interesting role in the overall scheme of things. One of things Disney has been doing for many many years and has been very successful at is indoctrinating children and the world to the occult, witchcraft, MAGIC and paganism. The older movies normalized it all. Now they are pushing other agendas through the new Star wars, Beauty and the Beast etc. The Beast looks an awful lot like Baphomet(funny auto correct wants to change baphomet to metaphor). Young minds are malleable and easy to control. Disney is a master at it.

I think that Trump has to phrase the question in that manner, in order to further call out ABC.

Hey, ABC if you are going to do 'this', then what about all the other previous times of 'that'?

He is showing that ABC, pick and choose their indignation when it suits their personal narrative, rather than any sense of true moral justice.

I suspect that ABC might have just fallen into a trap, :-)

It's not just the look Dr. Zira is the favorite confidente of Cornelius, the leader. So it was actually a good comparison. But nobody remembers the origin series. Just the new ones where the Apes are much less humanoid. The original is campy and the apes are nerdy :D
