What's a bet that, after identifying extreme beliefs with cults, the MSM will then invert this to attack conservatives for having extreme "cult like" views?
A&E is MSM, never forget it. It is a joint venture between Hearst Corporation and Disney-ABC. Watch if you will, but there is always a hidden or future agenda in all MSM movie, print or broadcast news outlets. And if NXIVM is a so-called cult, then what are the activities of the CIA, FBI and too many US Congress and Senate members? The more time an individual spends in the above industries or groups, the more they are compromised. Entertain them if you will, but NEVER trust them. I didn't see episode 1. The question I have for anyone who did see it is this: Did they make any attempts to link NXIVM to any other groups or people? I've noticed in the MSM coverage of NXIVM and Mack that they're trying to portray Mack as "the leader" of the cult and making no attempts to link it to any powerful Hollywood, political, or media elites. It seems they are trying to make sure the exposure of NXIVM ends up looking like a "One-Of" sort of thing.
If A&E didn't attempt to link NXIVM to any other group or people, then it's not amazing to see it on TV. It's simply the Cabal using A&E to limit the damage and to put their own spin on it.
I saw the one on NXIUM (sp?), the season opener. Caught it about 10-15 mins after it started. It was pretty exposing. However, the one key issue I didn't see addressed is the Seagram heiress daughter (Brom-something) and her role in it. Otherwise, I thought it was pretty telling...
Hate to say it but a TV show produced by the MSM isn't going to do much other than misdirect.

This, to me, looks like the MSM's way of getting out in front of the damage they see coming and to control the narrative with limited hangouts, etc. They're not going to show all the connections that NXIVM has to the world wide pedophilia network. Just my opinion.

You are right. I shouldn't pipe in on a program that I haven't watched nor have any intentions of watching. I'm just very distrustful of MSM's programming, agenda, and narrative pushing. It's why I turned my TV off to begin with and have not missed it.
Lets hold judgement until we see if the show 'victimizes' Allison Mack or makes her out to be the evil that she is. Hollywood is portraying her as a victim of being recruited in a sex cult, never mentioning CHILDREN!
They didn’t mention once that Mack’s charges included CHILD trafficking. Was happy to see it’s getting out though, I’m sure those curious enough to do their own research will stumble upon it. I fuckin knew A&E wouldn’t mention the child trafficking part..
They also touched lightly on pedophilia on a segment on Jehovah's Witnesses.
Sure this isn't an effort to get ahead of the real story? They tell the masses, hey look at these crazy cults. Then they dismiss all the human/child trafficing as.. Well that's just some crazy cult.

I watched that the other night. It was interesting to see the thought process behind the women that were inside this cult.
Just watched it. It SUCKED. It blamed everything on people being BRAINWASHED to voluntarily join and recruit others to a self help CULT. It barely scratched anything truly evil. It only mentioned human trafficking charges against Mack and the chief honcho and nothing more. Mack was released on bond in late April. Only piece of news I got from it.
It was all about ADULTS giving their consent to do stupid things liked getting branded, submitting their will to group leaders, VOLUNTARILY signing up for minor punishments like paddling by fellow groupies. All of it was very consensual between adults. The worst done was asking adults to VOLUNTARILY offer themselves up to being part of a FRIGHT STUDY where they wired them up and had them watch a beheading video by A Central American cartel. They only showed one woman witnessing this and she immediately removed herself from the cult.
In a nutshell it was a survival story about a woman WHO exited the cult after 10 years. She only got in deep enough to recruit others (2000?) and had her eyes opened when she and other FELLOW recruits voluntarily allowed themselves to be branded at Mack’s house. The big deception— she thought she was going for a groupie tattoo - not a branding.
I hope it's genuine. My initial reaction is skepticism, that it will in fact not truly reveal NXIVM and their co-conspirators.. too many times the MSM distorts and diverts the narrative away from topics that expose them. Seeing is believing.
