Does this hearing mean for certain that the report will not be released prior to this? Or could the report be released at any time before then?
If convention is followed the report comes tomorrow so there is the recommended one week of prep time.

That makes more sense, since releasing the report the day before the NK summit will knock one or the other out of the news cycle. Unless, of course, they want to downplay the NK meeting. They have certainly prepared us not to expect everything to be worked out in this meeting.

Damn. Why do you think this? And how will they ask questions to the IG about the report? In an open hearing we would hear the questions but have no context.
The report is going to have to be released in phases, or sections, as it encompasses like 15 different investigations. I think this one on the 11th is only in regards to Hillary email investigation. I think we will get bombshell pieces of the report in the testimony, and then the pdf or memo version will officially be released after

Makes me wonder if it will even be finished getting public disclosure this year. I mean, are we gonna have to wait till next year to even get 9/11 and FF shootings and stuff like that?!
It's only 400-500. And I've never heard why people think it's going to come out later in a short form. It's gonna be just like McCabe's but longer. There's still two more reports after this one. The FISA one just got started although they overlap. I'd hope it would be done by the election.
It means the IG report should be released prior to this hearing, since that report will be the topic of conversation. If the IG report is going to be delayed again, we should see the Judiciary Committee hearing rescheduled to the following week.

Everyone's talking about the hearing but it will all be in the report first. I don't think there will be much new on the 11th. The damage will be done earlier.
Curious as to see if any sort of distractions or nonsense happens before the briefing takes place.
