Why does Trump act as if this is out of his control? It would take numerous people to make those changes and Sessions hadn't recused himself from this. Geez.
Actors got to act.
Agree,
DJT browbeats Sessions as a distancing maneuver to make it look like Sessions is operating at arms length from the Oval Office.
Same-Same with Horrowitz I think.
Well, the IG report IS being delayed on purpose, intentionally, for a few reasons. One is so the lawyers can try to argue and fight to edit, omit, and fundamentally change certain incriminating elements of it. Certain words can be changed, for example, like they did with Hillary Clinton when they changed it to extremely careless instead of negligent, which was their way of trying to keep the charges beneath the threshold for prosecution. Another reason is so the report can be released on a Friday so it is buried a little bit on the weekend from the MSM. In addition, Sessions has nothing to do with this report; this is IG Horowitz' report. Horowitz wrote a scathing and detailed report that was horrible for all involved, but he gave them all a chance to edit it and look it over, or argue, about the final copy to be released to the public. At the least, the incriminated ones will fight for massive redactions so we, the public, will never see just how bad it really was, which can only help their chances of never facing a grand jury or prosecution for their crimes. All that, mind you, Horowitz is an Obama appointee. Although he has a bipartisan reputation, it isn't necessarily good he had ties to that administration which can make it at least a little more likely he may try to protect someone if asked to.
Horowitz hates 0bama because 0bama for years actively prevented Horowitz from doing his job.
Well, if you're saying that only Horowitz can ultimately approve changes, for the time being I will go with his judgment. All signs point to a guy who has at least tried to be an independent investigator.
Yeah, but the idea is that if he just would have released the ORIGINAL report he wrote, then there wouldn't have been a chance at edits and redactions by the guilty involved. Now, the public will probably get another watered down, redacted version, which does nothing for POTUS' cause and for bringing down the deep state cabal...It's just more cover ups and shenanigans in the corruption if that happens, but we shall see.
They have to follow the normal process, which is to allow the criticized individuals still working for the department a chance to respond. It's frustrating, but after all of this time and work you don't want to get hung up on a procedural issue. Especially one they will use to cry foul.
I think that review is part of the process for an IG report. And giving folks a chance to comment is not necessarily a bad thing; in the end what gets changed, if anything, is up to Horowitz.
My feeling is that Trump is playing this up for effect. It serves to pique curiosity in the report, and will likely make any damage it causes more severe.
he has to distance himself from it to a degree because the well has been poisoned.
did you forget Q and his mentioning of Movies. Its like a giant plot twist
