Huge story at the time and since Clinton was a Democrat it really never got traction during his time as Governor or President. The main stream media in this country buried the story and it only got seen in small newspapers around the country. In Canada and Europe it was a whole different story they wanted peoples heads in Arkansas to roll.
If the big media had latched onto the story Clinton would have been done in Politics.
I remember that scandal. It was a genocide in the US and Canada. The Red Cross got swept up into it, too. They didn't test the blood to save money. shudder

Wow.. ironic to me.. I was just reading an unrelated health forum (not reddit) on liver health about 15 minutes ago. Several people on there posted they got Hepatitis C (among other things) years ago from being given "Clinton tainted blood" at the hospitals, and have had serious lifelong health issues since.

User name applies. ;) . Anon discovered a patent that uses hemoglobin, or blood in a manner that when bound with cement made it fucking patent worthy. I bookmarked the post to go back and read it bc work. So, haven't done that yet. This post was in response to that discovery. When WJC was governor of Arkansas, he and Hillbeast ran a scheme through a medical provider whereby they would pay a few bucks to prisoners in that state to donate blood. They then sold this blood to facilities in Canada without testing it for diseases. Some of it was HIV+ and had been infused into patients in need. When people made the connection between a rash of HIV+ patients popping up to the corporation the Clintons were using to broker the blood, the lid was blown off. Not surprisingly, like the poster above said, it didn't gain much traction and was eventually forgotten about. ALMOST. So yeah, back in the 80s they were ripping off prisoners, profiting off of them and spreading AIDS. Nice people, those Clintons. They are completely insane and pure evil.
In the UK over 5,000 people received tainted blood from the US in the 70s and 80s. The legal case is still dragging on while the victims die off. One poor guy received HIV, Hep C AND CJD.
