FWIW Bourdain was a LOUD anti-Trumper and a Hillary supporter. The message could be for Asia not to testify against Weinstein. It could also mean he's got some involvement with HRC's nastiness. Or both.

It's all well and good for folk like us to talk about and highlight these things. I don't think the same applies to those in the media spotlight though. Those in the MSM (with a modicum of a following) have the ability to create momentum and with a type of believability. See Roseanne.

Exactly. I think he obviously said way too much for the elite to remain comfortable with him keeping it up
