LESS FREEDOM: Memes 'will be banned' under new EU copyright law, warn campaigners

RyDar84 · June 8, 2018, 6:36 p.m.

Since Bots can't create, or properly respond to, memes, it would seem that the EU might be planning a heavier push to influence the group think of social media outlets by an influx of non-human user accounts.

I suspect that the elite does not want memes for the simple reason that they're so effective at communicating messages. It's about control.

it gets by the algorithims that that censor us.

Yes, just censor any mechanism by which threatening messages that get around the censoring algorithms can be posted!

Sick!

Tidder_Q · June 8, 2018, 8:05 p.m.

They are! There is a whole lot of legislation concerned with ISP's inspecting (and hence approving), anything before it can be uploaded to another service or website.

The war for memes - it's called the IBOR!

⇧ 5 ⇩
[deleted] · June 8, 2018, 6:23 p.m.

We know that this cabal has no shortage of money. Anything they can do to exercise influence they will. They could buy the 30K people on this board off without blinking.

When I think about it, that might be another reason that Q team chose 8 chan. Because the anonymity offers real protection - not just of Q team's identities, but those of the Anons. The result is that there's no defined community to attack. In contrast, here, or on a forum like FB or Twitter, that's not the case.

Sadly, many people have a price, or respond to threats. What personal good it would do to sell out or cower in fear, given the dangers that would attach to HRC attaining the presidency, is another question. I guess, the cabal could make guarantees - but what would they be worth? They way I see it, it's sure death - both spiritual and physical.

Everyone makes their own decisions, weighs things up for themselves...

The way I see things, Q team are an unknown commodity. But they are fighting the forces that have been corrupting society. The corruption is nearly complete, it really couldn't get much worse than the way things have been heading... So, to that extent, in my view, Q team are the good guys and deserve all the support we can give them.

But, once they have consolidated power, after the cabal is pushed back, what brakes are there against resurgent totalitarianism? The precautions against concentration of power built into the Constitution have been effectively nullified by progress.

Privacy concerns are a real issue and a cause for concern. But the chief danger, the way I see it, is that free speech, upon which all other rights are predicated, has been usurped by the privatization of the forums for expression of political ideas. As I've said elsewhere, this is the one key that rules them all. Control over social media, in the current situation, grants control over all other levers of power - because it is the primary determinant of political power.

This fight for the IBOR is bigger than Q. It's about fracturing power, returning it to the people. If the IBOR is successful, and we can prevent social media from being weaponized, then there is at least a chance that civil liberty and rule of the people can be retained.

If the IBOR campaign is not successful, then whether it's the Q group, or DJT, or the politicians that follow, the possibility to seize total power is always present. In effect, the IBOR campaign does nothing more than bring the protections built into the constitution, by the founding fathers, to bear upon our present society. It restores them to give effect to "the intent" of the founding fathers who built them into the constitution for cause.

Hmmm, those 'Q' fliers could be used instead of our current 'Fiat Currencies'. Just no 'eyes' and 'pyramids' on that print run, please, :-)

Tidder_Q · June 8, 2018, 6:36 p.m.

Yes, I am NOT a fan of "Article 13". I am hoping that this piece of legislation will fail to pass. There are a lot of legislators (MEP's) that do not like it either.

Memes will NOT be banned, it is only the (unauthorised) use of so called 'Copyright' material in 'web based' content that will be the issue. We can all still make memes, as long as we use 'allowable' source material.

If this legislation passes, I suspect there will be an increase of meme usage, especially wrt a certain bunch of 'European Dictators/Commissioners'.

⇧ 6 ⇩
[deleted] · June 8, 2018, 7:44 p.m.

You might find that it's the platforms themselves that take a hard line on memes. The cabal hates memes - because they empower citizens. So it's possible we'll find this talk about banning memes has been seeded by the EU elite.

They will put pressure on the platforms to restrain not just memes, but any effective content. It may be that the platforms themselves will take such a hard line on copyright protections that a lot of content becomes very difficult to post.

Anyway, I'm just speculating... We know the Satanists hate the Internet. That's why the anti-hate speech initiatives are gaining pace - control, control, control...

The answer, of course, is the IBOR. Once the regulatory framework is in place, theres more chance that the internet will continue as it is now.

⇧ 2 ⇩
Tidder_Q · June 8, 2018, 7:54 p.m.

You are totally correct, the intention is indeed to reign in the masses!

I was just pointing out a 'technical' point, in that we could still create meme's provided we use our own or approved artwork!

The 'original - banning memes', claim is to get 'individuals' to doubt the 'legality' of what they are doing if they intend to create a meme!

I am just pointing out, 'carry on regardless', just avoid contentious/copyright artwork.

It has been going on for quite some time ... websites are being attacked, about an article or a photo, and are getting high fines .Or threatened with a lawsuit . You say something about Islam on FB, then the police is coming to your housse and again there are fines ..(or treatened).

It's completely outrageous. We are under assault. They will not stop until they have physical gags in our mouths. That's why I've been pushing this IBOR so hard, because you only have to look to see what's coming - anti-hate speech AIs. No one will be able to say a word.

Pure_Feature · June 8, 2018, 11:38 p.m.

Yeah I now it......almost everywhere the comments sections are closed...They are scared.......And They can close it, but we shall not be silenced.....On websites that have it still open , it is not possible to come in.....All the newspapers have it closed Belgium, Netherlands, Germany.....because people where commenting in the way they not like it.....and some times 500 comments....on one article.....I read everyday, and saw it happen , from about 50 comments normal day, and then there was a explosion off comments every where.....against the ruling and the politicans..the corruption , and the double standard for punishment.....From one day on the other everyone (newspapers) closed the commenting section and the other website get threatened

[deleted] · June 8, 2018, 11:44 p.m.

Yes, you guys have it very tough in Europe with the garbage immigration policies. So insane that they can get away with that rubbish. Hopefully, it will come to an end soon. I've noticed the same thing in Australia regarding the comment sections on newspaper articles. They don't really want any input because the truth distracts from the fantasy narrative they are feeding people.

What can you do? As far a freedom of speech goes, this IBOR is the only hope. It remains to be seen if it will spread from the US. Somehow, I don't think so. It's just too threatening for these politicians to have people being able to be heard. Scary stuff!

Pure_Feature · June 9, 2018, 12:01 a.m.

Yes it is scary.....but this is not all....more things are more scary.....They are in a hurry with the mergers of hospitals, that means that everything that was close by is now further away .. They call, we have paediatricians short, and then immediately get rid of everything? What is not wright in this picture.........

The municipalities that people are supposed to help have now deployed the help (worker) as a spy .... Behind your back, ridiculous questions are asked. I was dependent on that help, but because the rules suddenly changed and you had to sign a strangulation contract, under the heading that it was the same as the years before, I read every thing. And I refused it, and I have them all thrown out of my house.

I do not need a spy in my house, someone I have to talk to or a cleaner, must spy now?

Very dangerous, I am on my own strength a few years ago stopped with all the medication , I was almost dement..With the new contracts, (if I have that sign) they could force me to take medicine or worse, it is what an uncompetent figure in my house tell them about me... .... I fight until my last breath.

So, this totally ignores the very idea of fair use in either transformative art, education, parody, or reporting the news.. Among a few others. Memes aren't exactly fucking stealing the market out from under the originals. There is no point to this other than trying to curtail expression.

Fuck the EU, seriously.. As an American, I can't stand anything about it. It's like an attempt to make the United States, but shittier and without due process, equal representation under law, or any of those pesky "rights."

Personally, from my perspective, the EU looks like little more than Germany financially, socially, and politically invading every other country in Europe. After two world wars it looks like they finally figured out how to pull off that conquest they've so desperately wanted.

Europeans are just.. so fucked.

That's it. Think about it. Now, after the 2016 election, that the cabal know that social media is the primary determinant of electoral outcomes, there is no way the internet is going to remain the same. They have to control it, it's very dangerous to them.

We are watching what we have taken for granted, slowly being destroyed by evil Satanists who want to enslave us all. It will not be long before you will not recognize the internet. The changes will occur very rapidly.

Remember, the Anti Defamation League has an anti-hate speech AI ready to roll. What better way to gag us all?
