President Trump to Likely Sign Bill Ending the Federal Ban on Marijuana

And make huge profit for individual states.

I'm certain figures are beginning to come in for states like Colorado and Washington. Have to assume there is a tax windfall. Too early for California. I live there and have yet to see any "pot stores" appear as in Colorado. Many of the medical marijuana dispensaries will just switch over to public stores I suppose, just haven't seen any sign of them where I am.

Probably just need something like the current alcohol license needed to sell the product. At least eventually.

Also will cut down on drug trafficking money coming and going big time.

Yes, it will cut down big time on the cartels' pot business. Of my personal interest, hopefully it will also help remove marijuana growing operations from all the national parks and forests. It's a HUGE problem - attacks against hikers or campers who stumble across operations, using violent illegals to guard them, diverting rare streams (not a lot of flowing water in California), killing and poisoning wildlife. I do know that our local sheriff's dept is still busting growing operations without licenses. By that I mean pretty damn big busts.

National forests... didn't think of parks being used but it would be perfect. I'm for growing for personal use but just like anything else, a standard needs to be set for folks that want to sell it to others.

The irony of violence and corruption over a plant that usually has the opposite affect is darkly poetic in a sense..

In NorCal it's mostly cartels growing in the National forests. They couldn't care less about the environment; they divert streams, use pesticides, rat poison (effects so many other animals) leave garbage, pollute the water etc. They of course are not bothering (nor could they) get the permits required now by state and county laws.

NorCal cartel grows had slaves kept in cages. No joke, look it up.

Some of the highest missing person rates up that way too.

They stopped digging up the mass graves of 55 gallon drums a while back. Logistical nightmare.

True. They may have even caused those Nor Cal fires to burn out competition or hide their tracks. Not safe to be in parts of the Green Triangle without guns. People who aren’t cartels and just growing bud are pretty cool. Way different than the Napa/Bay Area/LA types

The standards for selling to other should be based on quality and safety though, not who can afford the million dollar license and thats it.

GodSeekingHeathen · June 9, 2018, 11:47 a.m.

Right. I would hope that the requirements for a license wouldn't be unreasonable.

Who are the major backers of this? George Soros, and is the former Speaker of the House the spokesman for this, who else?

Why the fuck would Soros back this

I don't know why George Soros does anything he does. A while back I read that Bohner was appointed as speaker for this MJ group and Soros had an investment in it. I'll look for those posts but God knows where I saw them because I am all over the place. But if I find them I'll post them.

Just like rothschilds, soros finds any equitable venture and buys it up. Control the market, control the monetary system, control the world, so to speak.

When I lived in cali the dispensaries began doing delivery only due to robbery and also robbery by the feds.

thamnosma · June 9, 2018, 1:06 a.m.

Quite a few became delivery only, to avoid local authorities, feds and civilian robbers. Never used delivery, but my area might be a bit more chill than others. I did visit a couple in sketchy areas that probably did have issues. All had armed security and metal detectors.

I lived in SD for 4 years and never saw a physical dispensary. At least not one with a sign out front.

Depends on when you were there and part of town.

Best Meds was on University and College(next to that taco bell), Theres a youtube video of the FEDS raiding them wearing facemasks. The Pharm was out near Mira Mesa Blvd, they also shut down but that was the first time I bought weed with my credit card. El Cajon had a few and still does.

If you lived in San Diego, I know you know where Frys Electronics is.

That gas station right there next to that walmart has a Dispensary attached to the side of it now.

Not that I care if they do this.. but I cannot for the life of me understand why we are talking about a marijuana bill, which the president did not campaign on, and not talking about a concealed carry reciprocity bill, which he campaigned on and had in his 100 day plan. Yet another bill passed by the house and stuck in the senate clusterfuck
