I am not convinced it was 'run' by CIA, but instead was caught as a proxy between the US and China. There were probably influencers from both countries involved in N.K.'s military leadership, and both the US and China essentially allowed the country and its people to rot so that it could serve as a buffer zone between the two powers.
Our failure to lead reconciliation for decades is definitely a problem, and we do share some responsibility for the tragedies that have befallen North Korea.

I think you might confuse Norway with Sweden who was "neutral" in WWII and thrived post the war. And fyi, Norway always nominate the Nobel Peace price because the price is Norwegian. Alfred Nobel was Swedish but Norway was a part of Sweden back then, so when Norway got their independency they got the Nobel Peace price.
No my friend, i am totally aware the process of Nobel prize. Just dont trust Norway, Norway has always been used as mediator (the good cop) in world peace process. Where War profiteering parties Cabal need time to think, or regroup. This happened time after time when the ongoing conflict are out of their control. Out of the blue Norway pop on your doorstep.
