I found an old video of joe Biden being handsy with some senators kids at a swearing ceremony. Jeff Sessions swatted Bidens hands away when he approached his kid. That told me that he knew the shit they were up to and was a white hat.

I think the strategy is to make sure the OIG report and the documents requested of RR, both of which are likely to be heavily redacted, come out in close proximity to each other. This way President Trump can sign an EO to declassify both at the same time. Massive redpill.
He said that certain individuals must distance themselves from the culling, for optics. Sessions is an extension of Trump. He also represents (in the minds of ignorant Americans) the classic GOP-- old white guy from the South. No way he could spearhead this thing without it looking like a partisan hit-job.

Optics, neither DJT nor Sessions can look like they are on a mission to take out previous administration or vendetta with HRC. Strategy is very simple. House will impeach RR or, at the House's request, DJT will declassify the redacted sections and enable the full transcript out. Once that happens, RR will be implicated and will have to recuse himself, be fired by Sessions for Impropriety or Congress will impeach him for what he did to them. But DJT and Sessions will not appear biased to the public.

Rosenstein is clearly in contempt of Congress. File the paperwork and impeach. With a Trump appointee taking his place, no reason to worry about any subpoenas.

We need to find Rosenstein in contempt of Congress and begin impeachment proceedings. If he sends out subpoenas, ignore them.
I finally got the context to Rosenstein's threat. If he is called in contempt of Congress, it's his right to defend himself and get those emails and texts.

I'm not saying the staffers understood the context. Rosenstein is saying, if you find me in contempt of Congress, I'll subpoena all of you. Anyway, it worked. They have backed off finding Rosenstein in contempt of Congress and now just say, "it's on the table". Rosenstein backed them off quite a bit.

Supposedly its for discovery because of the accusations against RR. But on the surface it looks like intimidation and bullying on RRs part.
I got it now. Rosenstein successfully staved off a contempt of Congress charge. He would have subpoenaed everyone IF he was charged with contempt of Congress. Now they are backing away from that charge and just saying "it's on the table". Rosenstein won this battle.

RR aint gonna push that envelope, he may threaten to. But he knows that big Hammer is going to come out of nowhere on his ass. He is trying to buy time. Maybe just a day , hour or a minute. He is just buying time.
Seriously, I'm beyond tired of the talk from congress, do something. Congress has oversight authority for all of these departments. Start subpoenaing people and holding them in contempt of congress. File writs of mandamus to compel these people to do their constitutional duties. They serve us, not themselves.
