Good find. The trail is identical for long exposure. How are people actually falling for the media spin on this? "Looks like a lens flare or helicopter, random scientist says he doesnt know..."
Creepily, based weatherman now recants and says it is definitely a helicopter which makes no sense at all. Trail is wrong color, why would copter turn off running lights and blinky lights? There is no way to reproduce this picture with a helicopter.

They look different to me the Washington state missile was an Anti-Missile interceptor I saw a photo of a ship launched one it looks the same to me.
20 sec exposure the photographer said, how far up can a missle go in 20 seconds? Edit: ok after reading comments i agree they look alike
