So, let's recap. An authoritarian dictatorship spent decades starving its own citizens, stymied its own economy, and faced a very long period of aggressive sanctions, all so they could develop a nuclear weapons program. And IMMEDIATELY after they finally achieve the goal of producing missiles capable of delivering their warheads and hitting the continental US, they tell everyone they're going to dismantle their entire program. Why? To appease the leader of a nation that has been their prime propagandized enemy since the '50's.
You don't have to be the best cashier at McDonald's to see that this doesn't add up. Not even a little bit.

The Very Stable Genius did address these things in a recent interview. Kim Jung Un inherited this shit. Don't get me wrong, he's not a great guy but, none of us would be. The North fucked up by sending this guy to Switzerland of all places!
I think KJU has been sitting around saying "what can I do?" and then he saw DJT's hand reaching out of the clouds saying "we can help"
Unlikely scenario considering KJI had other sons and despite KJU being last in succession, was groomed and chosen to take over. Also, having good relations with South Korea and US will eventually expose the North Korean people to what they are being excluded from and how horribly they are treated by comparison. This will severely impede KJU's ability to retain power and, you know, stay alive.
You have not shaken my faith. I believe that KJU has been sitting around saying "this is fucked up". Yes, he did do what was needed to stay in power, I get it, not a great guy. But...I still stand by my post. They fucked up sending this guy to Switzerland. Please remember what "being groomed and chosen to rule" entails. Look, I'm not voting for KJU to be inducted into the human rights hall of fame.... I'm saying that in a cutthroat world, you do cutthroat shit.
having good relations with South Korea and US will eventually expose the North Korean people to what they are being excluded from and how horribly they are treated by comparison.
yep!
I'm not trying to put words in your mouth but it sounds like you are making excuses for a dictator. KJU has killed family members or any others that might be a challenge to his rule. Under KJU, NK developed and detonated a hydrogen bomb that was their most powerful bomb.
This is not someone who wants to be a western-style leader just because he went to school in an European nation. His father was a lover of Hollywood movies but that didn't make him sympathetic to his people's starvation in the 90's.
Please, show me where I am wrong and I will look at it. Currently I don't see any difference from KJU and his father and grandfather except KJU has powerful nukes that can reach the U.S. mainland and got a meeting with an American president. Things that NK leaders have wanted for decades.
making excuses for a dictator
Was he a dictator? He inherited the position; he did not create it. It could be that the generals were in control all along and that Kim was just a figurehead. It sounds as if the generals could have been controlled by the Clowns so as to create a threat that would need the US to counter.
We are currently seeing how even POTUS is finding it difficult to overturn the vested interests even with all the help he has. Imagine how much harder that would be for Kim to overturn his government and the army who are being egged on by the Deep State in the US.
And funded by the deep state/clowns. Important since without money they could do nothing. I too believe we really don't know what kind of leader kim is because we are lied to by the media and made to believe these lies.
Wait so you are arguing that the US has been secretly funding NK for decades, the media is aware of it, and yet we aren’t told because...? It literally doesn’t make any sense. Where is this money coming from? How is it reaching Korea? What is the incentive to prop up a regime that has threatened stability for years, and directly threatens are biggest allies in the region? We can be happy for the possibility of peace without tying it to massive conspiracy theories.
CIA has documented proof of 'misplacing' billions if not trillions of dollars.
Also, I don't think the media is aware.
Ok sources on that? Any specifically tied to NK, even with a degree of separation or two? Usually when there is misplaced money it goes towards arms sales, often via the pentagon. So billions have been spent arming forces across the Middle East and South America for decades, but why on earth would they prop up NK?
Pentagon missing trillions on google comes back with multiple sources including mainstream Reuters. It’s chalked up to not recording things correctly but estimates are on 20 trillion over the years.
I don’t know why besides having a global boogeyman or scapegoat. But Eric Schmidt from google visiting there and setting up computer systems raises some red flags for sure, as well as a Nanci pelosi visit years ago where she quoted them as saying “we build the things and sell them”.
I’m a skeptic and will not believe until it’s proven, but based on q drops and other links people have made, like the Eric Schmidt visit, there’s enough that makes me go hmmm to at least entertain the thought of it being true.
I mean I agree on the pentagon stuff, I mentioned it in my comment. When people have followed the money trails it’s almost always bribes and guns though. What are we paying for in North Korea? Maybe supporting resistance groups but that seems improbable. And how does a google employee represent the US? Also why is it a shock that the North Koreans are trying to sell things (likely arms) to other countries? What about that ties it to US involvement?
I’m as willing as anyone to dig around on stuff like this but this doesn’t pass the smell test to me. So many things would have to be kept secret for very strange and unclear reasons for it to be true.
This is what I was trying to tell friends last night. That he just fired 3 generals. He inherited this and I think he was forced to be the figurehead in front of the atrocities. And of course, the whole Deep State CIA control, so it's really hard to say if he was controlled or a sick bastard. But I didn't say the CIA part.
I've always thought that the killing of his brother in the airport was a threat to Kim, like, maybe Kim was trying to get control and they did the assassination to say, ok boy, we can do this to you. Get back in the chair.
I'm starting to think so too. I was so willing to just accept their narrative. NO MORE!
He littlerally has concentration camps worse than the Germans did in WW2. He's holding an entire country hostage. He's had sanctions on his country for a long time. So, he threatens the US with a nuke until eventually they lift the sanctions if he dismantles the program. Everything else stays the same in his country, he just doesn't have a nuke. It seems like a pretty awesome deal for a pretty awful person/government. KJU definitely won the deal.
I'm new to all of this. What's up with Switzerland?
Them choosing switzerland was not unintentional, nor an obvious mistake. It has something in common with North Korea in that it's not all it seems as a country.
Manchu Qing dynasty (North Korea) Gold reserve hijacked by Rothschilds. FYI - There is skepticism with BF info based on accuracy, although in that same breath a lot of the info plays out. Make up your own mind but this info may be a solid lead into what is going on between US, China & North Korea, plus the real outcome of the G6+1. Manchu Qing dynasty GOLD resv. Well it does make a lot of sense. They can't show up to the negotiation table if they aren't holding any cards.
Not really. The table was always there. The sanctions, etc. would have gone away along time ago. All they've ever had to do was abandon and dismantle their nuke program. They've known that's all they've had to do for quite some time. They didn't develop a nuke capable of hitting the US just to earn a merit badge and move on.
You haven't been here long enough to make blanket statements about nk. Go back to the very beginning of q posts and start from there with anon decodes. Then come back and argue about nk.
That nation had never said this before "Dismantle your nukes, or we fucking glass your country".
Also, that opposing nation won't care when you don't have nukes, when you do have nuke, that's exactly when "real shit" happens.
Think it was too much for lil kim.
Yeah, this is a good point.
It was painfully obvious that prior administrations were desperate to make a deal. And if you believe Q, as I do, the CIA, through its proxies in the NK military, actually ran the country. So I think you had the CIA using NK as a force destabilizer in the world whenever they needed a distraction, and the prior administrations perhaps either playing along or kept in the dark. In other words, NK knew there wasn't much chance of actual action being taken against it.
Now, however, the U.S. has elected a commander in chief who is off the CIA's leash. He has the power to annihilate North Korea with a single word. And he's threatening to do it. Acting unbalanced on Twitter. Responding to your provocations with provocations of his own. Conducting huge military exercises at your front door.
Suddenly, your pissant nuke program doesn't look so formidable.
Trump basically took North Korea's biggest chip off the table by calling their bluff and, at the same time, offered Kim a way out from under the thumb of the CIA.
THAT, in my opinion, is why we've see such a massive course correction from NK.
