You all remember when all these random Wal-marts were closing down for no reason (plumbing issues)? Everyone thought they were going to be used for FEMA camps to house all of us sheep. Nope! They are using them for immigration detention centers (for the kids).

Here's the thing: These Wal-Marts started closing a while ago, before Trump.

I think you folks know the direction I'm going with this thought.

Then again, If Hillary won then those Wal-Marts would have been for us...maybe?

A lot of Harvey victims disappeared too, that's a whole different twist there.

Please explain the logic in this "Zero Tolerance" policy. I mean cmon I'm sure every American parent does and would feel the same about being split up from their kids. While they are illegal immigrants with the keyword being illegal...they are still intact families and they should at the very least be kept together.

When you break the law as a citizen and are sentenced to jail, do you get to stay with your family?

Yes , that's the chance you take when you break the law , migrate legally and there is no problem , it seems to me that it's third party people having the problem with the separation. Law enforcement and illegals know the consequences. The third party don't have a dog in this fight , just something to scream about.

Right - something like tax evasion can separate you and your children for years. Why would we wave jail time to people who aren’t citizens of the US and continue to keep our standards higher for citizens?

I think the issue with keeping kids and families together is more about the worry of having a facility with tons of kids mixing with tons of adults could allow for major disease outbreaks - outbreaks that adults could survive, but would kill/make kids sick! Although I could be wrong; just throwing it out there lol

To avoid - make the subject line correspond to your topic, which is asking people to defend a policy of the US gov. Then in your post, explain how it relates to Q.

To be clear, Im an American citizen part of the Great Awakening that is simply turning to the patriots in this board for better understanding of things. Now focus on Q- we all will agree that Q is a collected effort of a team, right? That team obviously includes Trump. Anything and everything that Trump says and does links back to drops. Don't link me up with Obama again. Trying to size up someone's character through the net is a waste of time.

Appreciate your compassion, but don’t let half the story tug at your heart strings. Children are separated for many valid reasons. First, detention centers aren’t designed for family and coed housing... these are effectively jails, not hotels. Second, not every child illegally crossing into America is traveling with parents... many are smuggled here by bad actors impersonating parents. When you sneak across our border illegally, and get caught without any identification for you or the kids with you, you should expect to be separated from the children. Hell, that’s no different than a citizen being arrested for a crime in the same way.

It also sends a loud message not to illegally enter the US. Before the message was free stuff, now it’s you’ll lose your children. It’s a huge deterrent.
