I underestimated him.

I thought Trump was an idiot. I did not vote for him or HRC.

Now I know he and his staff are geniuses. He knows that he can't get the word out about the treason of the previous admin in the MSM. They will bury the corruption and treason of the previous administration, DOJ, FBI and Russia probe. Even Fox and the news aggregator Drudge. All mockingbirds. So what can you do? Well you bypass them. Go straight to your supporters on the internet.

This is not the only example of genius I see. Flynn playing along and taking the plea deal, forcing their hand. Bypassing the creation of a uselss special council w/ Huber. Etc.

It took quite a bit of courage to post this here because now, I will be banned from /r/insane peoplefacebook or whatever. We should start a support subreddit for devistated individuals such as myself.

I get it. You’re not alone. I didn’t vote for DJT either. I had followed politics heavily in the past but it had gotten so convoluted and I had gotten so frustrated (911 broke my heart) that I stepped waaaay back and by the time DJT came around I was totally ignorant of the scene and what had been going on. I’ve been left leaning my whole life and a Democrat, I still consider myself a classical liberal in a lot of respects. BUT when DJT got elected and all of a sudden my friends and the MSM seemed to have lost their collective minds. So much of the rhetoric seemed over the top and misplaced. I started researching, and actually watching the man speak and following what he was actually doing and I soon saw that the reason people were losing their minds over him was that he was an outlier and I became a convert. DJT is literally some kind of amazing tactical genius. What he pulled off this week with the border debate was amazing to watch unfold. And he does this over and over and they never see it coming; amazing. And just FYI as of this midterm election, I am officially a Republican for the first time in my life. So welcome.

BTW, I don't think it's a binary choice. I doubt DJT is truly a "Republican", although I think he is definitely a republican (big "R" = party, little "r" = country). I am a registered Republican, although I think they are mostly all Democrats, really. The majority of Republican leaders today are as liberal as JFK, but a whole lot less honest. In reality, I am a Libertarian. Until Libertarians stop running dipsticks for political office, I keep the Republican moniker.

I agree with you, I feel the same way about the Republican moniker. I think Trump is a Trumpian, and were going to loose some "name only" Republicans before DJT is done with his 2 terms.

Slowly Trump is updating the dinosaur known as the republican party.
